One of the old mounts that were 100% speed but without armor, it was removed by Blizzard and players were given the option to exchange their non-armored 100% mount for a armored one.

Changed from 'White Mechanostrider Mod A' to 'White Mechanostrider Mod B' in patch 3.0... I have no idea why.

Originally, the little black fin on the mech's head was only visible from one side. In other words, it was 'see-through' from one side and opaque black from the other. This was changed at some point, I believe some time after burning crusade was released.

High Tinker Mekkatorque uses this mount (same colour) when he rides out of Tinkertown during Brewfest event.

This is out of date as of all of the other mounts that came out before patch 3.2, it now requires level 40 and normal mounts require level 20.

Sadly impossible to get now, cool epic mount without all the bells.

Back in the day, I got the icy blue one. More recently I wish I had gotten the white one but the GMs won't switch it out for me. Not suprised. But kind of dissapointed.

This Mount used to be buyable before the 1.4 patch in Classic WoW.

It is one of the 14 unarmored Mounts that have been made unavailable with that patch.

Interestingly enough, the Undead are the only race that didn't have any unarmored versions. This is because they've already had the armored versions in that patch.
