It's not that WoW is getting worse or anything, it's just that some people have gotten bored with it. I've played WoW off and on since vanilla. Although this is the only game I always come back to. I'll admit after playing it for a few months straight I get kinda bored, so I quit for several months, then wind up coming back because there aren't any games nearly as good. And as everyone else says, its 9 years old. Do you still see people play Asheron's Call 2? No, cause it shut down. Final Fantasy 11? Wow has 5x more what it had in it's glory days. Of course Wow is losing players, some people say it needs to back to how vanilla was, but others say it needs to move in a whole new direction. Either decision Blizzard decides to make, they'll lose somebody. They can't please everyone.

And WoW is the best way to ESCAPE this $%$%^ real life.
Why do people keep going on about the fact that the subscription costs are what is driving people away from the game? I paid £15 per month when I started playing in Vanilla and I am still paying £15 a month now (actually slightly less as I pay in blocks of three months). Can anyone name me anything else that is the same price, or lower, now than it was back in November 2004?
I'm sure I'll be seeing a lot of people saying things like "Oh, WoW is dead now cuz it sux. Vanilla/TBC 4lyfe!" and that's a shame. WoW is losing a lot of subscribers, but it isn't because MoP was bad (Seriously, Pandas fit just fine in WoW) it's because the game has been going on for almost a decade, people can only play the same game for so long before they just need to move onto something else. I'm not playing WoW myself and, to be honest, I kinda wish I could. I still like WoW and I feel like this is the best expansion yet, but I just can't convince myself to pay money to play a game that I'm so burned out on (Been playing since the end of Vanilla) Basically what I'm trying to say is, WoW isn't dead nor is it going downhill in quality. It's simply losing subscribers because it's old and after a while people just feel the need to move onto something better (Or just have to move on, as raiding and life don't always mix.) I'm expecting (Along with most people I think) for WoW to go F2P. This isn't a death knell for the game, rather it's a logical step in WoW's progression. Yes, a lot of people will be mad about it, but I can honestly say if WoW went F2P, I'd come back (Provided they keep the same quality and avoid P2W) We've already seen F2P work well (League of Legends) so it doesn't have to be a last desperate resort.Anyway, I wish WoW the best. I still want to like it, but 8 1/2 years of the same game is just too much of the same to continue to pay for.
We may have lost almost 5 mil subs these past years, but we can get them back if blizzard trys to IMPROVE their game, like having the players themselves suggest what they want in the future and have blizzard do it, not just stand there and ignore us.Our voice MUST be heard!

I like WOW but it would be nice they make a expansion pack for the game and it goes live, that they would give us a free month along with the new expansion pack. This might make some more money little while but maybe I'm wrong too which is why they don't have a free month of play for every expansion pack.

I've played WoW since 2006. I'm most likely going to be there at the Last Party of WoW, just up until they power down the last server. In the meantime, I've been married, have kids, job and house.WoW has never been better, all in all, than it is at present. Customer Support is exceptionally efficient compared to any other MMO, and the quality of the content released is impressive, compared to the complexity of the game.Has anybody noticed how Blizzard is constantly grabbing ideas from other MMO's where they make sense and implementing their own version to improve the gaming experience? Scenarios is a brilliant way to have social content for a smaller group. LFS / LFD / LFR are pure strokes of genius, for making group content available in an easy fashion. The latest flexible raids (11-24 man scaling) and Proving Grounds in 5.4 are up the same alley. The MOP implementation of itemization for all specs of all classes is awesome. I remember the insane grind for adequate gear in Vanilla and TBC, which is no longer necessary. Sure .. you can still grind for BiS, but the access to gear is far better.Updating the graphics would be excellent, especially the original models, which are somewhat worn by now.Introducing Free2Play is a Pay2Win in disguise. It will kill the game, and I honestly hope it never happens. I don't mind paying the 9€ it cost me per month the least.
They need to redo the character models, not make it free to play (I don't want a game like SWTOR), please for gods sake redo the world events (9 years of the same events gets old), Make new world events I liked doing the Burning Crusade events and all that with the special armors, also work extra hard to make raiding new content fun, not just a boring horrible grind to get gear. For example take out raid finder as part of the gearing process. I don't want to have to do raid finder just so I can do the normal version. If they'd just do things like that WoW could be great until Titan came out. Also they should stick to cool Warcraft lore like what they did in Vanilla, BC, and Wrath.
