If they hadn't released world of pandas and just gone straight for return of the burning legion or whatever expansion they are planning next, skipped all these freaking dailies and stopped with this corrupt BS about an ingame shop which you have to pay real money to get stuff from, then they wouldn't be dropping this many subsrcibers.
Regardless of how many subs they've lost, 7.7 million is still MASSIVE. They're making millions of dollars every month from the subscriptions ALONE. That's not counting race changes, faction changes, Armored Bloodwings and Celestial Steeds that happen EVERY DAY. No matter what people think, WoW will not die anytime soon.
Well since Blizz made bank, they could lower monthly subscription fee's. Most people cant afford to play games with fee's anymore. This wont hurt there bank accounts at all =P!
Why does everyone assume Titan will replace WoW? Even if Titan is the most awesome game in the universe, I don't want to start a new MMO from scratch. I have countless hours invested in WoW -- the mounts, the pets, the professions, etc. I don't really want to start over with another game. I have enough addictions already.I realize it's a mistake to assume everybody else thinks the way I do. But the fact is, the most successful non-WoW MMOs out there can barely scrape to one tenth of WoW's player base. Why does everyone think everybody will jump on Titan one day just because Blizzard says, "Ta-dah! Here it is! Everybody move!"My prediction is that Titan does really well by normal MMO standards, maybe the second biggest MMO ever, but enough people will stay on WoW that Blizzard can't afford to shut it down.
Cue the cries of THE SKY IS FALLING.Meh, every other MMO in the market has to poop bricks just to reach the 3 million mark. Besides I don't play this game because "everyone else does so". I play it because I find it fun, and will continue to do so until the day its not fun for me anymore. So the amount of subscribers is of no consequence to me, as long as wow is fun I'll play it, and as along as its profitable blizzard will keep it online (And the game would have to go below 1 million players to stop being profitable)
Bring back the old dev guys and kick gc and company. Less arrogance more imagination.

I've been playing since TBC and I absolutely loved it. I loved old vanilla too, I loved how everything was hard. I thoroughly enjoyed Wotlk. The introduction of BoA's was a very minor spoonfeed as it was only two pieces and they were relatively hard to get (if you were actually trying to gear up your char, the alts would have to take a back seat). Now, you can pretty much gear your alts in full BoA's, the rewards from dungeons and quests go up and the actual exp needed to ding has been slashed. I've been moaning about this exponentially increasing spoonfeed for literally years, and I've seen this game go from a stupendous, intricate, challenging MMO to something more like it's retarded second cousin which you hoped to never bump into but you feel it inevitable because of family gatherings.Cataclysm brought many changes I disliked. As I predicted, many people (who felt the same) left the game. I bought MoP in the hope that maybe Cata was a blip. From my point of view it was 50/50 to get worse or better. Unfortunately, it got worse. To those who will question 'Why you still playing then?', the answer is pretty simple, I spent almost 20 quid on this expansion and I might as well play til that expansion is done. I'm a completist, even though now it sadly hurts to see this expac to the end.People suggest that those that left 'grew up'. I've grown up with the game, and the game is still (decreasingly) part of my life. The one sanctuary I felt safe and secure and challenged was pretty much f*cked over with the PvP changes.Blizzard sold out, I've been saying it for years and I'll keep saying it until the sinking vessels weight pulls me under. They focused on the $ and made the game easy to attract the new softcore players. In my view, this is how they will bring back subs:1. Bring back old pvp. No spoonfeeding. You make it, or you break yo'self foo'.2. Bring back raids that are technically difficult, don't just increase HP of a boss.3. Serious nerf of pretty much all classes. Questing/leveling PvE has been easy too long, I recently finished my Ironman toon with moderate ease, this would've been unthinkable back in the good ol' days.4. Take out these ridiculous BoA's. These noobs powerlevel 1-90 and know about 2% of WoW-lore, which is honestly a huge shame and a waste.5. Stop the spoonfeed6. Bring back hardcore7. Stop the spoonfeedI wouldn't make the game free to play, but I would definitely look at reducing subscription fees. £8.99 a month for an increasingly sub-par game is ridiculous. It's not about me not having enough money or worrying about paying this. I literally don't think it is worth this amount at this moment in time. I haven't for two years. But I still cling on hoping, hoping and hoping. Eventually I will stop, because like the 3 million who have left, there's only so much disappointment I can take.
:) bin playing wow from the start and has not stopped :)
