Basically; complete a raid or mix lfr in with normal/heroic/mythic, do a mythic world tour and a few easy keys, and just afk some battlegrounds every day or so. Honestly not bad at all if you want MORE options for loot. Do more, earn more. If you're lazy, just do a mythic and bam, free gear. This is fine. Actually gives reason to bother with pvp for once without being exceedingly inconvenient like in WoD.
Something I just noticed, is says
Or each run/kill could award points that are then used at a vendor to pick your item.Too wild? Too much coding involved? Lol.....
Wow... Amazing, neither you or wowhead gives a crap about a simple detail in the strings... THAT IS THE THIRD TIME I'M POSTING THIS ! (I've even reported it)NEW WEEKLY_REWARDS_COMPLETE_MYTHICComplete Mythic Level %1$d dungeons. The reward is based on the lowest level of your top %2$d runs. NEW WEEKLY_REWARDS_COMPLETE_MYTHIC_SHORTComplete higher level Mythic dungeons to increase this reward's Item LevelThe lowest key you do gives the loot table from where the reward is chosen, the highest one gives the item level... Read it guys, read the actual frickin post. (and please Wowhead, correct this...)This would actually mean that you could target specific loot by doing a very low key from a dungeon, whilst your higher key gives it's item level. For instance you do a +2, so the first reward would be a +2 item level reward from that dungeonThe second reward, you do a +6 (the three others don't matter much) so you would have a reward from the dungeon you did a +2 of, but it will have a +6 iLvl.The third, you do a +12, and there you go, a +12 iLvl gear as a third option selected from the loot table of the lowest key dungeon you did. That's how I understand it anyway and makes much more sense.
Raiding shouldn't even be on the list tbh, raiders already get far more gear than both pvpers and m+ runners. As it stands mythic plus is hands down the worst way to gear and this system just solidifies that position. You get extremely lackluster rewards from the end of dungeon chest and they only thing keeping it relevant is the weekly chest, but now with all 3 endgames getting access to their weekly chest there is literally no reward for playing m+ exclusively. If this system goes live as is(obviously it wont but the point of discussion is to fix it) m+ will only exist as a supplement to the other 2 endgames and thats going to really hurt the m+ scene. People arent !@#$ing asking to be the best at everything by only doing 1 thing, they just want to be good at the one thing they do without having to do completely irrelevant !@#$.
all these people commenting "YoU DoN'T HaVe tO Do iT AlL, yOu sTiLl oNlY GeT OnE ReWaRd rEgArDlEsS" are clearly missing the point that it's not about us wanting *more* gear, it's about us wanting a better chance at a reward that is a relevant and useful upgrade for that toon. I don't want to have to do 15 mythic+ runs per toon each week just to get two extra choices. In saying that, as many people have said this is still a beta, and we're still not 100% certain how it even works - hopefully Blizzard will hear our feedback and balance it accordingly.
I love this new system, it seems that people who complain a lot about "losing" options if you don't do all the contentWTF, what did they want? Get to your weekly chest after a +15 mythic and say, I want your best weapon pleaseHAHAHA hilarious
Good idea on paper, but horrible implementation, just like almost everything Blizzard does...Requirements for additional choices needs to be reduced drastically as following:- For M+, requiring 15 runs is too much, it should be 1 run-1 choice, 3 runs-2 choices, 5 runs-3 choices.- For raid it should not require full clear worth of bosses for max choices, because ppl are benched for certain bosses especially on mythic which will ruin theirs weekly reward choices, make it 1,3,5 bosses instead of 3/7/10.- For PvP I don't really care as I hate it.
yay more free gear for ppl that do the bare minimum hurray. And its amazing how ppl are still *!@#$ing about it being too much
