Complete FIFTEEN M+ per week? Yeah, no.
Awesome. So if I do a +15, I get a really good loot item in my cache just like it works right now.I mix it up, so doing some Arena, some Heroic Raiding and some M+ all in the same week will give me more options to choose my gear from. Which means the likilhood of tertiary stats or getting a good armor slot increases.Yet I can still only get one piece of armor, meaning this will never be a grind. I can do the bare minimum and get one piece, or work my butt off for multiple options. It's the thing Blizzard has been trying to do forever. They want people to be rewarded for their time, but not so much that it feels mandatory.I love that it takes into consideration what content you do. The more HERIOC raid bosses you kill, the more heroic raid boss item choices. Same for M15.For me, it looks like running 5 M15 will be fine, then maybe another 10 of any level. It takes the lowest of your 'top'.So if I did 5 15s, and 10 5s...Option 1 M15 item, Option 2 M15item, Option 3 prolly like M7Cause my Top 1 was m15. The 'lowest' of my top FIVE were also M15s. The lowest of my top FIFTEEN were ten M5s and five M15s.
FIFTEEN? That's absurd. 5 should be the rank 3 of that slot, and maybe force them to be different dungeons. 1/3/5. A full clear Heroic raid may not give as good of gear but it's something that can be done in a night or two. The thought of doing 15 dungeons in a single week is pretty damn ridiculous.
PvP:>rewards you with loot corresponding to your highest rated activityRaiding:>rewards you with loot corresponding to your highest difficulty raidMythic+:>Does not reward you for your highest rated activity of the weekThanks Blizzard. Really cool.
Aw. I had kinda hoped the 'wide variety of activities' included just world content like callings or Torghast runs.
Don't think that's how people expected this to work. Not sure what I think about it.
I think you've got it wrong Wowhead. The first M+ string says that the REWARD is based on the lowest level m+ dungeon you ran. Then the last says the REWARD's ITEM LEVEL is based on the highest run.I thinks it means that the reward is chosen in the lowest key's loot table, but the item level depends on the highest key you've done !
does this mean there is a weekly raid chest too or am i just not understanding?
Also because people are illiterate it seems:--Example--I run the following dungeons in one week.1x M155x M108x M72x M3Expanded that is:15,10, 10, 10, 10, 10,7, 7, 7, 7, 7, 7, 7,3, 3For the first slot, your highest Dungeon's lowest number is 15: "15"For the second slot, your highest Dungeon's lowest number is 10: "15, 10, 10, 10, 10"For the third slot, your highest Dungeon's lowest number is 3: "15, 10, 10, 10, 10; 10, 7, 7, 7, 7; 7, 7, 7, 7, 3"It's... really straight forward. x_xBut 15 dungeons in a week is really lame. Just make it 1/3/5 or 1/3/6 Unique Dungeons instead. Force variety, not pure quantity.
Kinda rewards those players who enjoy doing a certain content. They get to choose from more than those who log on once a week to get a dungeon done. End result is the same but the choice to get the result is more for those who put more effort. This is a very good addition to the game.
Not sure how hard conquest will be, but if its like this now its doable. I'm not sure what the lowest level of your top runs are, but that sounds unrewarding if i do one 15 and 14 regular non keystones. or a 15 and help a friend do a 10 (or guild members) and you get reward as if you did a 10 or no keystone. That would feel really really bad. Wonder why they made this change? Or is that just how it is now and I don't know how to read code? You know how much crap is going to be flung at blizzard if this doesn't get changed. Imagine being told no by your well geared friend to helping you - which he/she may of done since vanilla all because now he'll/she'll get junk in his vault. Talk about dividing a community further.
