Now they just need to get to work on getting bans for the level 1s in trade chat.
Buying a boost is just as bad as selling a boost. Ban them all
Good f-ing riddance
The problem, the way I see it, is that Blizzard - as usual - is behind the times and not thinking things through trying to anticipate issues, rather than "putting out fires" afterward. If they TRIED, they would have
This is a really nice joke :)I hope this time wowhead "comment approvers" don't come here and delete my post. Like always, when i say something about blizzard. They really think this will "stop" the sellers? That kind of "player" always have a lot of backup accounts. And a "one day ban" is nothing.literaly NOTHING.Sellers are breaking wow economy since ... (i can't even remember when)On the second week of release of the "M+" the group finder was filled with sellers.Since that, you have to see at last 30% of the group finder, filled with sellers.Oh yeah, of course, i'm using a "google translator english" my main language is not english. sorry about that.
I told the leader of one those "WTS..." that it wasn't allowed, he said he knew and also: "just don't report me" and I said: "I kind of have to you know." He got really mad at me and said that I was a kid who got all my money from my daddy. Fun times.
I'm wth Thoorin on this one. There should be a separate channel for people to buy & sell in-game carries. People sometimes use them (for example) on returning to game as a catch-up or for alts, as Guildies will often boost mains, but won't carry alts through raids/M+ . Leave Trade for profession/item sales only.(To be clear: I'm NOT referring to my main's Guild/direct experience here - there are often people willing to help even alts - but I have enough to do that I'm happy to skip extra content/gear up beyond i445 on my 24 alts!)Glad to see that reporting for LfG is being acted on.
finally!
1 didnt read it all not have energy but i hope ban more then days weeks streamer twich people for be able earn money lure peıple from wow to thier stream.and do all those bt using lfg system1 day few people ban not important if this not stop ban wave need like 30 day suspenionsthis is goin out of hand
Seems silly to be honest. It's a legitimate way a lot of people make gold in the game and it keeps them playing.Instead of banning people why not add a tab to the group finder for boosting? Or a tag in the drop down for boosting, these types of runs have been around for years now and aren't going away anytime soon.
Just block their accounts from hosting in group finder if they do thistired of this *!@#
I personally do not mind when they are doing it for in game gold. However, I do report every one I see that tells you to go to a website or mentions real money.
what about in trade chat?cus still spamming for selling services especialy in argent dawn eu server i playing
You still can do in trade chat and other ways soo it's the same
I see so many people talking nonsense and being against people selling boosts (and people buying them).I personally don't care nor I think it's illegal. If someone finds fun in buying gear for gold, good for them. It's sad that you want to get carried like that and not actually play the game and get yourself there but well, if that's your thing, fine by me.What Blizzard needs to do is invest time into the chat system (which is stalled and ancient by now) and create more channels so those types of spams can be advertised there. My ignore list is full because I have to ignore someone each time I login due to spamming in general/trade chat. And for those who are either new players or those who haven't been playing since Vanilla, those boosts existed literally since Onyxia. We used to sell Naxx runs, Black Temple runs etc for significant amount of gold back then. So let's not pretend that Blizzard cares, cause if they did, those things wouldn't be happening for like 14 years now.
Good. Now if we could get them out of all the channels except maybe Trade. And a bigger ignore list.
you can still advertise in trade channel, just not premade group finder. As someone who doesn't need any of those boast services, I isolated the trade channel so I never have to see any of those. I'm so glad blizzard finally takes action against them for advertising virtually everywhere. It's so annoying at this point.
Very happy that this is becoming a thing. I've been playing since BC and I really miss the drive people had to seek out other players to complete dungeons with. Sales also take players out of the LFG rotation who might normally have been great resources for players attempting to learn or master an encounter.
