can test it on ptr now. enable dx12, then play with the MT cvars. set all to one except for the disable. but once you enable the 4 MT renderers, you can use disable to toggle diff between non MT and MT. especially check it out on boralus. :D pic.twitter.com/CxvR1raf21— 🧔🏽Adam (@MysticalOS) October 6, 2018

Just tried the changes on ptr and I noticed the game is smoother. Great change can't wait for it to go live.

Finally. Better late than never I suppose. :p
A note to the author and readers here. The PCWorld article linked in this article incorrectly states AMD R9 GPU's are not DX12 capable. That is incorrect. They can run DX12 just fine.
no nvidia geforce cards get directx12 on wow what a game LUL
Would be nice if you guys could run those benchmarks on the same systems where the CPUs *haven't* been overclocked. These optimisations are meant to reap benefits in systems that are CPU limited after all and you're already reducing that CPU limit by heavily overclocking your CPUs. The benefits should be greater for non overclocked CPU systems.
well it will be interesting to see results at 4 - 8 cores with 3.5 to 5ghz per core.I am rooting for a 4 core high ghz built.
Tested on my Rig.I7 6800K 4.4Ghz oc all Cores.32GB 3200Mhz cl16 Ram.MSI Seahawk 1080.Intel SSD 750 Series PCIe AIC 1.2TB Internal SSD.not much to show for it :<few Screenshots:https://imgur.com/a/91xPgnV
A considerable difference for me (10fps more in Boralus) with an i5 7300hq and a gtx 1060 @ 1080p
My r1700x is going to love this.
Adding my results to the mix:Setup:I7-7700K 4,5GhzEVGA 1070Running of a 850 EVO 1TB SSD16GB of 3000MHz Corsair Vengeance LPXLocation:BoralusResults:DX11 preset 7 no AAMin FPS 84Max FPS 89DX12 preset 7 no AA No new optionsMin FPS 76Max FPS 92DX12 preset 7 no AA All new optionsMin FPS 93Max FPS 100Conclusion:Despite not able to get Rivaturner to show Average FPS. I can Conclude that this is awesome. There is a clear difference between DX11, DX12 and DX12 New options. In DX12 with no options there was a dip to 76 for a second because someone mounted up on top of me and not much to do about it. On my system its an improvement for me to go DX12 with or without the new options but the massive difference the new options does is hard to ignore. Here is the results from all 3:DX11https://i.imgur.com/WYrxuYR.pngDX12 No Optionshttps://i.imgur.com/iCVmVln.pngDX12 All optionshttps://i.imgur.com/RRQb1Iu.png
