can test it on ptr now. enable dx12, then play with the MT cvars. set all to one except for the disable. but once you enable the 4 MT renderers, you can use disable to toggle diff between non MT and MT. especially check it out on boralus. :D pic.twitter.com/CxvR1raf21— 🧔🏽Adam (@MysticalOS) October 6, 2018

I believe this is the first actually good thing being implemented since BFA released, good job!
Finally my 1080ti and I9 will be tested xD
Lolwut?
It will be interesting to see how this affects different processors. I'm guessing that Intel cpu's will see a greater benefit. But any improvement in the multi processor utilization is a welcome change!
Maybe I will turn on DirectX 12 after this. Currently, even with a 1080 it is a downgrade to turn on.
Will Win7 64bit users benefit from these changes as well?
Considering how much the game has be maxing out my 960 gtx but not my CPU I am hoping this will lead to increased performance and help addon performance also while in raids. Also considering the issues people with potato PC's have been having in Uldir this should help a ton with performance in there also.
Just tested it on the PTR - It's giving me a 10-15 FPS improvement (8600k & GTX 1070 at 1440p with maxxed out settings). I wonder if it can get any better?
Any testing done with AMD/ATI based systems? I run an 8 core 4 ghz FX Processor w/ a Raedeon RX 480 vid card. I'm asking because all the chatter is about Intel based sys. as i'm sure i'm not the only non Intel based rigg out there. Thanks
This is all more stuff that should've been done in the beta and ready at launch. Very bad management.
