About 'they are messing up the timeline".. we messed up the timeline.....you can't just say "we left and they were ok, it's the only thing that could happen, the only timeline they could follow..happines". We don't know...maybe we should have killed gromash too...and maybe with that yrel wasn't going to be crazy...we just don't know what can happen, every action can change everything.
Narru Vult! :D
Now I seriously want a Draenor 2.0 expansion, with the Light as the big villain. Also I wonder what happened to the Arakkoa.
I love Blizzard, and almost everything they do, that's why this crap hurts me even more. Who in their right mind comes up with stories like those? First Nightborne and Void Elves, and now this... I really liked Draenor (ye ye, think what you want, but it was good if you don't count the garrizon self-sustain or that there was too little content with too long breaks ..or that it was in different timeline >_>) and now they butcher characters development from there. Not to mention they are completely messing up AU's... again...Part of me wants to hope that it's just Blizz trolling us hard with fake files, but after those other allied race intorductios... I'm slowly starting to think that they don't have anyone with great story ideas anymore. Trully heartbreaking.
Good thing we spent whole WOD "developing" Yrel as a character only for her to be first discarded and forgotten, and then returned as a bat**** crazy tyrant. Another character after Wrathion that we spent whole expansion with for basically, no follow up at all. Now that alliance got alternate Draenei from Turalyon's expedition, there's zero hope WOD ones would be useful to Blizzard so they decided to throw them into the bin.
And people thought the lore for the void elves was bad.....
It's an interesting twist. In the end, the draenei from the Alternate Universe became that which they despised the most: another Legion, one bound by the Light. Ironic.
I feel they did this to justify why the sreanei didnt go over moreso than why the maghar joined the horde
This is on par with Med'an.
Considering how jewish-coded the Draenei have been depicted since their first appearances, this is... a pretty twisted turn, and it does retcon much of the Draenei lore especially their relationship with the Light, and also invalidates almost all character growth made during WoD (on both sides), while introducing a new Thrall in all but name...
I really hope they change what they did with Yrel, I don't like the idea that Maraad sacrifice only leads to this.
