how, if at all, will the artifacts change your choice of MS or class choice for legion?i was going to play a resto shaman next xpac anyway, now with doomhammer i'm torn, i guess it really depends on how time consuming it is to gain a second artifact weapon and put some decent power into it.
I think there won't be huge differences between higher or lower levels of artifacts... At least Blizzard said they want the best geared player don't overdo an average one with more than 5-10 percents.
I'm still not sure about these artifacts.I mean.. Everyone will go around with the same weapons after a while.Sure, they have a few different skins, but that does not make it 'special' at all.I'm glad we can transmog over them, as I'm already seeing myself getting tired of my artifact after a few levels when everyone I meet have the same weapon.Yes, it's cool that we can equip artifacts that resemble old legendary weapons. But legendary weapons was cool because they were rare.I just feel it's more of a gimmick, unless they bring hard\grindy achievements and\or quests to alter the artifact of your choice, so I can get a sweet artifact that's special and feels earned.the ashbringer looks sexy though!
C'mon, Percy, why would a beast master wield a gun for an artifact? Crossbows are stronger than guns by 350%.
It's nice to see it was a dramatic turnaround!
My rage thirsts for the fell blood of demons and with these new artifact weapon I shall forge a mighty Axe to quinch that thirst and bring many skulls and honour to both me and the alliance!
Sorry, but I call BS on the fact that Frost DKs HAVE to use one-handed artifacts as weapons. Duel-wielding is all fine and good, but being forced to change my aesthetic look for the entire xpac sucks. And some of the artifacts don't make sense - I mean, I get that Thrall has retired from leading the Horde and all, but he's just going to hand over one of the most iconic Horde weapons to someone who bought the xpac and got a free toon leveled to 100 just because the xpac calls for it? If you were a warrior and had saved the world multiple times with your hammer, would YOU just hand it off to someone wet behind the ears?
Just a shot in the dark, but I have a distinct feeling the Demon Hunter's Warglaives may be obtained during their quest starting quest chain, as opposed to a distinct element apart from that, and even if they are not It is entirely possible they may not possess any special names to them.I could be wrong of course, on both counts, but we'll just have to wait and see.
so,we are getting quest for these weapons on the begginig of leveling?and will i be able to get weapons for both of mine specs?and will fury warriors get one handed or two handed?
I get the feeling that those daggers are less the assassination rogue weapons... and more the feral druid's Fangs of the First Nightsaber. Why?1) They've already said they can mirror a weapon (getting around the whole can't DW as a druid problem).2) The spectral recolor matches the cat they showed off in the preview uncannily well. Especially the metal accents.3) The claw marks etched into the side of the blood soaked fang would match our combat aesthetic VERY well. 4) As for the other green dagger, I could easily see that being a fel-touched variation - like they have for Doomhammer and Felo'melorn - rather than saturated with poison. And the most obvious factor that led me to this theory? It's literally a big fang with a handle in every model :D
Am i the only elemental shaman here that wants doomhammer so badly but doesnt want to change?
The Artifact weapons could be a good idea to try and figure out the balancing issues between classes and races so that they are more balanced. I am one for this idea if it helps to improve the game in the long run. I am just curious what the Arms/Fury weapons will be for warriors now. I know Gorehowl won't be the weapon of choice for arms as it is already available as a weapon drop from the game.Edit: Gorehowl is dropped from the last boss in Karazhan and has a 14% drop rate, so not that bad to get.
