Multiboxing was never declared against ToS in last 1 they said automation having more than 1 account is fine using more than 1 at the same time is fine.. using software to play for you has always been against ToSnow using software to send the 1 command you clicked to multiple clients is against ToS (should have always been) as it is virtually the same as being played for you (you are playing 1 account software is playing the others)
I don't really care either way but people acting like it's the be all to end all amazing thing that it's discouraged is weird as hell to me.
it should be $%^&ing bannable stop milking it activision just get rid of it
The definition of multibox that I have that you can at least copy keystrokes to other windows. Otherwise it's just trying to play with multiple windows open. Like watching 2 movies at the same time. Useless.I'm interested on how Blizzard think they will detect this. Will it check for input delay? boom, random delay for all windows. Scan computers for programs? Update / slight modification so the application doesn't get detected. Just look at how horrible their anti cheat seems to be.. Multiboxing can be done with the simplest of scripts, no special applications needed at all.I wonder if this is just a, "Look at how we listened." But nothing will happen.
I doubt that many multi-boxers pay with cash, most will be buying tokens from the AH and using those.
Why are people acting like this doesn't end what they hate: the multiboxers controlling 20 moonkins that farm 24/7. This is a death blow to those types of multiboxers.
They decoupled the term Multiboxing (good because they sell more) with Input Broadcasting Software or Hardware (bad because people whine about this). But there's no use case for Multiboxing without IBS/H.
The amount of people not understanding the difference between playing multiple accounts manually versus using software to run multiple accounts for you is kind of ridiculous.
It would make sense for them to add the well known broadcasting software to warden and run checks to see if that software is running when wow is operating. Seems the easiest way to deal with it if they are serious about leveling the playing field and trying to improve the health of the game economy.
if you have a extra set of hands to use two keybaords and two mouses i don't see any problem there.
How will they know said software is running didn't they get in trouble with warden reading your PC info before
