Several Diablo IV developer interviews have been released over the last 24 hours, so we have summarized all new information including details regarding seasons, the Paragon system, and much more!

Game Informer
Post-launch quarterly updates will introduce additional quest lines that tie into the new mechanics and features of each season.
Rod Fergusson has clarified on Twitter
that these quest lines will not be part of the main campaign but rather introduce new content like seasonal mechanics.
Quarterly content updates will include a new Season Pass. On top of the Free Season Pass, the Premium Season Pass will cost $10. (This information has been around since last December)
The development team revealed two Nightmare Dungeon affixes (also called afflictions in-game): The first one is an invincible pillar of lightning that will chase players throughout the dungeon (we saw an early iteration of this affix back at BlizzCon 2019). The second one is a shade that follows players and, if touched, will obscure their vision and summon additional enemies.
Multiple areas in the world can be affected by Helltides at once and persist for a limited time.
These Helltide zones can include different versions of multiple various Diablo IV boss encounters.

Account-wide Renown rewards (potion charges, skill points, paragon points, maximum obols) will be reset with the start of a new season.
Blizzard will try to make the experience around collecting Renown feel as non-repetitive as possible.
According to Joe Piepora, bonuses gained from Altars of Lilith will not reset with the start of a new season. (Note: this may be a translation error but could make sense given the fact that these small bonuses would speed up early leveling in new seasons)

Players can max out the Paragon Board but it will take "a very long time". Depending on playstyle, it might not be something that every player can easily accomplish in a single season.
Through the Paragon Board, the development team wanted to cap progression in Diablo IV instead of having unlimited character progression within or even outside of a season.
The Skill Tree introduces players to make decisions on a skill level. It wants to make sure that players understand the context of how you're building your character.
The Paragon Board, on the other hand, lets players expand upon the build ideas they gathered while making their way through the Skill Tree.

Diablo IV is an action RPG first. Blizzard is trying to make Sanctuary feel bigger by including local events and players appearing alongside you to help with these events. However, this design approach should feel more organic and not feel like group activities in an MMO.
According to the developers, "everybody is sort of a damage dealer" in Diablo IV. The team doesn't intend to balance different builds based on particular party play (Note: This underlines earlier statements that Diablo IV will not support a "Holy Trinity" MMO-style design approach).
Completing the Season Journey and the Season Pass will take you roughly 80 hours.
Reaching Level 100 could "take a little longer than that based on how you play."
