Warders are actually inside the building. (The map coordinates are the underground coordinates once you are inside the building.) Don't worry, though. Once you go into the building, there are plenty of them around. Be careful the elite mob is not walking down there with you before you go inside.

The Crypt these Skeletons are in is GREAT for grinding. They have a decent drop table, provide ok EXP, and changes up the pace if you like to quest.

these mobs can be a pain for a fire mage..they cast a very quick "Quick Fire Ward" making them immune to fire for a few seconds.

Eventually I figured out you can sneak spells inbetween the wards by throwing a detect magic on them.
Also, if your quick you can CS the ward.

As a priest, their Unholy Frenzy prevents them from being shackled; however, Dispel Magic can be used to remove it, allowing you to shackle.

A quick strategy for a priest:
If you dispel their wards with Dispel Magic, they will immediately rebuff them, giving you around 3.0 - 3.2 seconds to beat on them while they cast their wards.

Yeah they cast a spell that makes them immune to fire, Fire Mages beware, Frostbolt them when they do so, or Counterspell fast.

i found only ghouls inside the catacombs

EDIT: there are 2 entrances into the catacombs. one is through a sort of hole in the ground, this one is full of ghouls and whatnot. the other entrance is in a building where all of the markers on the map are. this building entrance has warders inside of it

These guys can be a problem for Mages. They can make themselves immune to both Frost and Fire damage, and the spells they use to do that can't be Counterspelled.

The only ones I've seen are in the top floor of the house, next to a level 35 elite. Since Sven gives a quest to kill these as part of a series... I hope they exist elsewhere :(

I had that quest and the last ones i had to kill was skeletal warder. me and and lvl 50 went in to Morbent Fel's place just outside his room.

I sent my cat in after MF and used multishot, aggroing all in that small room. Me and the 50 went to work and when we were done, I had 2 of the 3 completed.

The 50 had to go so i camped there and watched MFs gang spawn again. This time, I sent my cat after the warder in that room and then didn't use MS on it, but we killed it. After that, MF and others beat on my cat, i hearthstoned out. Ta da, the quest was easily completed and my cat still lived.

Skeletal Warders are found inside the building on the North West part of Raven Hill cemetary. I was lvl 28 and they are lvl 28's and pretty easy to take out one by one

I found them in the Catacomp just south of the house, i soloed them as lvl 25 mage, they are lvl 29 down there but comes 1 at the time, but look out for the patrol, Good Luck.

They are in the catacombs, south of Morben Fel's house. They are nowhere near Morbent Fel.

i was checking the wrong place. So i found the right catacomb, and there really are skeletal warders in the entrance. Exact coordinates are: 15,38

Go to the statue at the pathways hub. If you stand looking directly at the statue then turn to the left you can see a building up the rise (between the statue and tree). Kill your way (or just run) to it. Watch for the patrolling Mor 'Ladim. If you see him, run, he's pretty sensitive.

When you reach the small building (vault) there will be Raiders and Healers outside, Warders and Healers inside. I picked off my Raiders by running the fence line behind this building. A partner would be very handy as the Healers are pesky. But if you solo it the experience points are enough to level you. I went from almost 27 to a bit past 28 with this quest before turn in.

yeah they are in catacombs entrance which is near the house. you dont have to fight the hard ones near the boss just to prove your worth

Ok, so you can all laugh at me, I didn't read this the first few times I had chars on this quest. I killed the ones next to the boss, died, waited for respawn, killed one, died... etc. Only on my latest toon did I notice that, as everyone on here said, and as I should have read, they are in the catacombs, south of the house, at the exact coords listed above. There are plenty, and they're easy to find and kill. So yeah, go Thottbot! Poor me. *Sob*

I went through the catacombs killing plauge spreaders for that quest i went right through the little winding path and came out at the bottom the other catacombs, there were a couple of warders there so I gave them a phyroblast which would hit then they went immune and dodged everything I cast at them, even if I cast fire, arcane or frost the first one would hit the rest wouldn't I even tried counterspell and never had any luck with this either, I was there for about 20mins trying everything but still no joy. I gave up in the end and tried to run through them all, a big mistake, and got wasted. Any ideas please? I am 28 fire mage..

You can find all of the mobs for this quest in the crypt just south of Morbent Fel's house. No need to look beyond it. Mor'Ladim is a 32 Elite that pats from the crypt's entrance down into the GY. Watch out for him!
I wasn't paying attention and dotted him up on my 28 lock because at first glance he looks like a normal skeletal raider, fortunately a 31 pally was nearby who gave me a hand. The mobs themselves are completely soloable. They do have a quick repop so expect to fight your way out as well as in.

There are some Warders in the gray buildings before you get to the house. They are right down the stairs and you won't need any assistance.

I am a level 26 priest and I was able to solo the warders on the first level of the catacombs. I could single pull and the first warder walked right into me. I was able to reach the inside of the catacombs no problem as well.

Of course, while hunting these, you do have to watch out for Mor'Ladim, the named level 35 Elite that patrols the area.

Fortunately, he follows a pretty set path, so wait for him to walk away from the area before making your run into the tomb.

I was often able -- after clearing the area around the tomb -- to run down the stairs, and pull a Skeletal Warder back up to the ground level to fight.

This seemed to prevent all the other mobs down there from jumping on after the fight was joined.

If you're a mage, use your arcane abilities, they use Fire and Frost immunities

Mages, note that they cast both frost and flame ward on themselves. So open with one kind of spell and then clean up with the other, so that they cast the wrong one.

Thankfully there are two entrances. The obvious hole in the ground at the top of the graveyard where you have to fight through dozens of ghouls and then go into a secret dirt tunnel, or you can more easily to into the nearby building that has healers and raiders around it just south of the house, and southwest of where you would start finding plague spreader ghouls.
