Really cool, but a huge middle finger to anyone who is purely physical damage. Really, REALLY good for any DPS with magic damage though (even melee like Enhancement or Retribution).

I guess Logic Loop of Synergy will be heal spec only, but what about Logic Loop of Division and/or Logic Loop of Recursion? Will they drop even for classes/specs with no required damage school source? I've also noticed there's no Physical if statement.
I doubt that these will be the only Logic Loops or Bit Bands in 8.2. We'll just have to wait for more to be added before the patch goes live.
Would be fun that they create more things like this so we could mix & match gear. But then again it would cause a hell for Blizzard to keep the game balanced the best they can.

As someone who has given up on playing Outlaw, I can't say I'm not a bit bitter still. I never liked that Legion made it both pure physical and made it the ONLY spec in the entire game to not have any abilities that reached over 20 yards.Given how much they meme'd the magical pirate fantasy in Legion, it irks me that they never incorporated any actual magical damage, because there were opportunities to work it in, but for whatever reason they didn't. Sabre Slash's second strike could've easily been a "cursed strike" that dealt shadow or frost damage. Pistol Shot could've dealt fire damage. Even Greed (the AoE proc ability) was pure physical, despite very clearly being magical in nature, visually speaking. There are literal "ghostly" abilities in the Outlaw Rogue's arsenal that are all pure physical.
I highly doubt these will end up having no internal cooldown. Imagine warlock's DoTs triggering loop of oblivion repeatedly for insane healing or damage paired with shorting or rebooting bands.

As a software engineer by trade, I always enjoy seeing attempts to implement programming logic as a game mechanic (I loved the Gambit system in FFXII). Sure macros are cool, but they tend to be an auxiliary feature that most players don't interact with beyond copy/pasting what they find online. These rings are basic, but I look forward to seeing where it leads.

Imagine an Enhancement/Assassination with the Oblivion + Shorting combo... every time they deal nature dmg they deal 45k to a nearby enemy? That HAS to have some ICD.

Haste already IS my main stat followed by crit.Could probably tear through anything.But I'm sure that won't happen. There will be a Cooldown.
My guardian druid is basically stuck using the loop of desperation...being aside from Moonfire...its stuck with nothing else magical, and the self heals are an bad CDs to be of use. Though would be cool to mix desperation and the magic shield one to finally give him some magic resistance.
