It's a pain in the ass to get the associated achievement, but it is possible. It also seems to be somewhat bugged, as I got mine after I had just lost one of the 4 buffs. If your server does not have any or very few brews up, just join a group on a different realm, but be sure to leave before you start or you'll start randomly losing the buffs.
Monthy Python and wow - great.
Thanks for posting this! I knew about the Darkmoon Rabbit but not all of the other Python references :)
On the subject of lumberjacks under other references, you forgot to mention the world quest "I'm a Lumberjack and I'm Ok", which I will go out of my way to do even if there is no reason to do it.
There are a few more references:Anvil-Thane Thurgaden - Similar to Thurgadin (Home of the Coldain Dwarfs in Everquest - Scars of Velious expansion)Hot Pursuit (Quest) - Reference to Avatar: The Last Airbender (NPC has a cart full of cabbages and yells "My cabbages!")Also I forget where, when you defeat an NPC (I just cant seem to find his name) he says "I will go down..with this ship" - Obviously a reference to the song by Dido - White Flag
Hey thanks for making this a post. Glad you found more info on it as well!
Wesley Rockhold's "angry" response is also from Monty Python and the Holy Grail :)
Maybe, just maybe, if you don't have any news to post - you shouldn't post anything at all.
There's also NPC's in Drustvar saying "If she's made of wood, can we burn her?" which is also a reference.
Really can't believe you just notices a whole month after! Also, you should all consolidate a SINGLE post with references, no need to create a new article about every single reference
I also saw in Drustvar a statue with a sign that said something like "Here lies Lady Thrace, may she hear nothing but the rain" - a reference to Battlestar Galactica and Kara Thrace/Starbuck and her signature reply to Adama's question, "What do you hear Starbuck?" "Nothing but the rain, Sir"
Even WoW couldn't make Monty Python entertaining let alone funny.
Wiley <Stubbornus Adversarius>Clearly that's not Python, but I was most pleasantly surprised to see him running around. If you've not mentioned him in a previous article (I may have missed it), some Looney references might be form a good base for your next.:)
i'll need to get this one in my warlock, but first I need to lvlup to 120 :SPS: my warlock's name is Mphyton
This is awesome. :)
