And a reminder the vault is RNG, last week I had the rat, this week I do not.
I do it on first week, with out this chees. i was just exploring zskera vaults and i was approaching a rat every 5 minutes.
Is this the cheese tax i keep hearing about?
The new cooking recipe is better for M+ for those who don't have the cooking embelishment. You can't use the fated fortune cookie during the run because of the fortune card.
"the cheese tax, the cheese tax"
Crafting "Fated Fortune Cookie" requires inscription with 2 different profession tools, jewelcrafting for the dust, and cooking itself for the last step.Crafting "Deviously Deviled Eggs" requires only cooking, and for now they are like 6 times cheaper than the fortune cookies. Are they 100% sure this longterm does not destroy the cookie market? Because it has done so for 2 weeks already.
You can also do this with zero cheese. If you log out and wait 5mins, the rat's timer carries on when you're logged out. Relog back in, correct some more recipe scraps. Relog out 5mins again. Rinse and repeat until you have all recipe parts.Takes a bit longer to do it, but you can do other things while the "real timer" keeps counting it down.I read it on another page (Credit to the person who mentioned it on there), and I used it. I just logged into another character for 5mins each time. Then logged back. After about 30mins or so,...had the recipe.Another way to do it. :) Good luck to all :)
How much cheese will you need in your bags to keep the rat around?
The recipe is not only an alternative, it makes the cookie obsolete. It's FAR cheaper and usable during m+.Also, no cheese needed, if it still works just like week one.Take rat, negotiate, delete it, take it again after 5 minutes (it constantly respawns while you are out of the room).
I had no idea about the rat ,,oh well.
I posted this on the Zskera page/Rat page but might as well share it here on the article: you can use /target Recipe Rat to find out which door the rat is behind. Then mark him with an icon so you can see where he is located. This worked for me in Week 1. If you cannot target him, try a different location - you may be out of range. If you still can't target him, you may not have him in your vault this week (I did not have him in my week 2 vault). This also worked for me with the Prototype Tinker-tron and the Escaped fish. So basically anything you can /target you can find.
I bought 2 stacks of cheese (a bit overkill, but cheese aren't expensive) in my full clear on Sunday. Got the recipe, and probably won't repeat this exercise with my other characters.
Already done without the cheese, he is a cute little rat :)
