hahaha I just check this page everyday for some info about the blog with all the images as they said but still waiting ... Just want to see what others have created maybe to know where I can improve as an artist.
I couldn't wait so I checked deviant art and WOW there are some really amazing pieces - more winning pieces than there are cintiqs to give XD (TT TT)
I imagine a great number of us are checking in on an hourly basis. >.<
I knew I was not the only one! Hehe, I really wish to see a full gallery :D (. . . and the winners!)
Same here >.<
I really wish a gallery of all arts :(Here is my entry - http://bilkaya.deviantart.com/art/The-Army-566649080Also, there is some links of different sizes of screen for those who wanna use it.Thanks a lot and good luck to everyone! ^^
That's gorgeous bilkaya. -___- Heartbreakingly so.
Waiting is killing me and it's not even been a week :(
A bit of an update...We'll be selecting a sizeable amount (probably at least 100) of the submissions to be presented at the party in a massive collage. Those included in the collage will definitely be made public for viewing... not sure about the remaining entries, still discussing that part but we won't likely be making the entire gallery public. The order of prints included in the collage should not be an indication as to whom has won a prize. The winners of the overall contest have yet to be determined. We appreciate everyone's patience during this process. And it's exactly that... a process. As I've told several in email, we have our usual duties still to perform while also making progress towards selecting pieces for print and overall winners. The party and BlizzCon are also coming up... each of these things takes time out of our work schedule. So, I hope the above update helps to alleviate any anxiety anyone has, at least partially.Good luck to everyone!
Yes, for certain you'll get to see those entries featured during our BlizzCon party at the Hilton in Anaheim, CA.
I wish I could make it to Anaheim at least one year out of my WoW career. The pricetag is just too far out of my reach >.<...that and the time commitments. It sounds like so much fun. :D
I'm curious about the Blizzcon party. Do you have to have a physical ticket to Blizzcon to go to the party? I'll be getting a virtual ticket, but I live less than two hours away from Anaheim, so driving there is entirely doable. If by the slim chance my work gets put up on display, would I be able to come down and see it? Seriously, the thought of having my work up on a wall is almost better than getting a brand new cintiq or a copy of the game. An artist getting their work advertised in a setting such as that is almost better than getting paid....almost lol.
Really! Anyone want to take a cross country roadtrip from the eastern coast to the western? >.>
Here´s the piece I did for the contest (Facebook):https://www.facebook.com/joel.lagerwallYou can follow me here for regular updates on everything I do!
