I love this artist's style and attention to detail! All of her pictures are so realistic. And that Void Elf with the flower crown! *Squeals* 10/10 seriously <3
Holy, I love all of it! The style is so beautiful yet semi-realistic, it's perfect! It would be sooo amazing to win that because our pen&paper-group needs a new character portrait for one of our members...but I guess I'll lose like every time. T_T
Absolutely adore the night elf with the blue hair and the blue dragon on her shoulder. Her face is so cute O.o
There's so much life in these portraits! It really makes the characters come off the screen as if they were flesh and blood... well maybe some less flesh than others. (Looking at you, Forsaken!)
I really love how each of the characters in the drawings have their own dinstinct personality, amazing work !
What's not to love about Naariel's styles? I've been following her for a while and haven't had an opportunity to commission her, so I would love to win.
They draw cute whelps. I like them, and I would die for an art piece from them.
The illustrations are all so detailed! I love the glowy eyes on the elves.
Oh wow, this is amazing! Especially that smiling female human paladin. Realistic style has always been my jam, and this one is reaaally good.
I love how 'human' all the characters are. They have personalities, backstories, and mood. The Worgen you showed above is one such. Bottom lip pushed out, and a hand in the tabard. Beautiful indeed. Glad you stuck with WoW and even more so that you're making a living from your art, you're skilled and you have earnt that. To me, you're a powerful female figure. And that's so encouraging for myself as a fellow woman in gaming. Break the mold honey, we're rooting for you. <3
It's impressive how detailed it is while staying very close to the style of the game :o
Dat artsy-yet-photorealistic style is top tier tho
Wow, amazing work! I love your style and all the artwork! I had the picture of the Draenei saved to my mobile all along coincidentally. I dabble in drawing my characters and I have the same approach as an RPer - there is something unique about them all that deserves to be captured.
I've seen this artist before on twitter. I love her style. Something about it is realistic in a way, even the non humans. Very believable as real people. I guess what I'm saying is they have a lot of character making them look more realistic. The red headed alliance female is my absolute favorite. I've seen it before on twitter, and though I really love some of the others I hadn't seen before on this post, she's still my fave.
I like how this artist can take some of Warcraft's less realistic objects like the mini pets and put them next to realistic faces without visual dissonance. The pets are immediately recognizable as their in-game counterparts, and yet are altered enough to avoid drawing the eye away from the rest of the features of the painting.
I simply love how Naariel does faces! They can seem so gentle yet badass at the same time :D Even an undead girl...especially love that one, which is tough because I love elves so much xD
Detail on all the art is amazing and beautiful! I love it.
The featured products from Naariel fit what seems to be a relatively small niche that I really love to see doneHeroic characters acting somewhat casually. Nobody's gonna smile for a picture or painting while they're killing a dragon, but that nightborne? His smile to me just screams "i punted a gnome on the way here." The belf dk? His axe tells me he's slaughtered so many undead he couldn't count 'em given a full day to do so, but he's just got it resting on his shoulder like he's just returned to Silvermoon and a little elf child's run up to him and asked him to pose for her because she's such a big fan.Casual heroes are a very nice thing to me.
These are great! I think my fave is the Draenei paladin. That little smirk sells it!
I love the Draenei portrait.
