first I like the idea that raids may be release 1 week after launch, so that people arent rushing to get into the first raid. The first karazhan on TBC killed off about 5 of my guildies since there wasn't enough space for all the people who hit 70.
blood dps is dead then? who cares
Honestly, what's wrong with dungeon finder that's only your realm?
Their stubborn idiocy about LFD is going to cost them subs and orders of their Special Editions of WotLK:C.
@wowhead, you forgot Ruby Sanctum (phase5) after ICC
I played Classic and skipped TBC but to not play Wrath?I don't know. I feel like it's mandatory as a WOW player lol.
Dungeon finder should be at least available for 1-70 leveling. But instead of into the dungeon, the teleport should spawn players outside at the summoning stone.
Brian Birmingham confirmed on Twitter that there will be no Faction Change or Race Change available too.
Have anyone informations about dual spec?
will you allow transfers from other servers?
"One of the key negatives to the Dungeon Finder is the teleportation inside the Dungeon, which does take away a massive part of the open world."So... by this same logic should they remove battlemasters from cities as to encourage people to go to the real entrance to the BG and possible organic open world pvp instead of the lobby simulator pvpers have? Or are lobby simulators only bad for pve. Asking for a friend.
Bring us LFD with teleport in front of the dungeon (if discovered?) and make it realm only.
Regarding the release schedule: did they elaborate further specifically as to why raids are going to be release a week after the expansion release?
It’s unsurprising but I’m less than thrilled we’re getting 3.3.5 class balance. The roller coaster that was Death Knight’s was one of the really fun parts of Wrath.
No Dungeon finder, but you can buy a boost to 70.Explain to me how the boost is a better option than the dungeon finder.Cons:Some people don't like it. (don't use it then, you clearly never played wotlk) Good luck finding heroic groups, as a tank I will only accept people with pre-bis, max ilvl, meta builds.Teleport to dungeon, oh no! I have to summon my party, 70 boost is fine though, right?Lack of interaction, really? You think people interact? I played since launch, if you don't play a meta build you will be trash talked and instantly kicked, at least with LFD you get a 30minute debuff. The only interaction I get, is players begging me to tank for them, or trash talking because I reject them.Pro:It was in Wotlk.Dead servers can still find groups.Brings low level dungeons back to life. With the inclusion of a boost, all dungeons below 70 are instantly killed. (like tbc)Makes all servers seem alive, there is always people queuing for dungeons at anytime. As a tank, this doesn't affect me at all. It will only effect the solo players and casuals. Wasting their time, but I guess that's the intention, waste people's time to milk subscription, or force them to boost. There isn't a single person working at blizzard that worked on wotlk. I'll play for a week.
Oh no! We cant have dungeon finder removing the "immersion" of flying for 20 minutes to the destination!
They just don't understand, that there is no such thing as a classic community with one opinion on how WoW should look like. The fans of Vanilla, TBC and WotLK are very different and even under the fans of one expansion, there are a lot of different sub groups. WoW changed completely with every expansion. Of course some people loved some changes while other people hated them. Everyone played WoW for different reasons over the time. Everyone is looking for different things in WoW.Blizzard should stop to think about the Classic community as a bunch of players, that all agree on the same critics about retail and all want the same thing. They should instead make up their mind who their target audience should be and cater to this audience. If you want to cater to fans of Vanilla and TBC it might be a viable decision, to remove the RDF. But this will be a punch to the face, too most of the WotLK fans. If you want to cater to the WotLK fans, make the experience as similar to WotLK as possible. Or ask the relevant target audience about changes you are planning to implement. This way Vanilla and TBC fans might not like WotLK again, but the WotLK fans will be happy. You can't please everybody and trying to do so will lead to a compromise, that's even worse than retail could ever be.I myself always thought I am part of the Classic Community, because I loved WotLK and ever since WoW Classic was announced, I was looking forward to play WotLK Classic, but if the definition of Classic Community is just a bunch of people who hate RDF, than I'm not part of it. For me WoW only became good with WotLK and the addition of the RDF and became bad with the class changes in Legion.I don't like Vanilla or TBC, because, while having good ideas, the complete design is dated. WotLK is a much more refined experience. If Blizzard really keeps the course, to create a WotLK that is like Vanilla or TBC, just set in northrend, than I am not part of the target audience and I rather play the WotLK on private servers, where I can get the experience I've been looking for in WotLK Classic for years. And all this talk of server community is nonsense. Take of your rose coloured glasses and you will see, that TBC Classic is just as unpersonal and toxic as retail. A lot of the Classic community, that screams how bad the RDF is doesn't even play the game or just plays it with the same 5 people. That's why they don't notice, how bad the community actually is. But the RDF doesn't take this away. You can still do dungeons with the very 5 people even if the RDF is around and people who don't even play WoW at all, aren't even affected by the RDF in any way.
oh the hypocrites! he worries people will not discover dungeon entrance but not worry people will not discover 80% of the game by skipping to 70! you are so funny but you are not convincing.. the only real reason for LFD is because you dont want wotLK to compete with retail...
Where's the onyxia revamped raid?
