Hm, for some reason my model shows as a blueish purpleish textureless gnome :'(
Hey Perculia, just wanted to say how awesome your guides are in general and thank you for it. Formatting & content is super, always looking forward to guides I can use in the future. All the best.
Thanks :D
I am assuming that the Male Draenei models are not out yet because my main looks like he does in the game right now and has no updated model.
Very cool how i can see what my characters will look like in the next expansion, can't wait for draenei male models so i can see what my main will look like :D
My orc looks the same as in live.
If you are seeing the same models for orcs across the site, you may need to clear cache. This series of videos covers the Warlords and classic models side by side to provide an idea of what differences you should be seeing.
Nice guide, learned a few things and I have an idea. You should implement a way we can see what our character(s) would look like on mounts. For example, a mount we don't have collected yet or a mount that has been datamined and is not available live.
"Error: Limit reached. Try deleting some lists or upgrade to premium."Wasn't aware I had any lists, I can't recall what they are offhand. What can I do?
This is great! My Gnome looks amazing come WoD, you just made me 100x more excited for WoD.You could only satisfy me more if my character could do /emotes and if i could change hairstyles and faces to see how those would look like.
wowhead cant doesnt even seem to be able to find my main at all
solitha--you have 10 Profiles listed here--just delete one and you should be good to look up more.mDJmitch--What is your character's name/realm? Sometimes there are issues where connected realms mess up Battle.net and the Profiler needs Battle.net to work in order to display information. Also with the blue/purple models...we've only had one report about those so far and the model suddenly fixed itself...so if you could send browser details and links to it would really help us out in replicating the issue and solving it. Thanks!
Currently this doesn't work with the Death Knight class specific skins. I tried viewing my Orc DK with black skin with the new models and it put a green orc head with the new model onto the black death knight body.. the hair and beard seem to be right and it put the DK eyes on it but the green skin on the head just looks goofy with the black body.
Awesome new viewer!
Great, fun tool. I have no right to ask, but IF you're looking for ideas....1) Could you add a "Change Background Color" option? It would make using screenshots in an image or video editor sooooo much easier (grey is the WORST color to key out)2) Any way to add a pop-up/choice to change the base model features? Like hairstyle, horns, face type, skin color, etc, etc? Currently the only way to do this is to create/find a character on the armory and load them in.3) Perhaps you could add a "pause" button for freezing an animation, and a step forward/step back to find a particular pose? Thanks for all the hard work you all do!
The old model viewer from years ago had the option to zoom in and out. It seems the current version cannot do this. Would it be possible to add this in? Sometimes it's useful to be able to get a closer look at something to see a tiny detail you otherwise couldn't.
Once it's full-screen, you should be able to zoom in and out with the mouse scroll wheel to get a better look at details.
