One of the things I'll miss the most is Transmogrification. But the iconic clown look is basically a staple of Vanilla.
I had to walk fifteen miles to ZG in the snow! Barefoot! Uphill! Both ways!Because in Vanilla, I couldn't find epic boots, farmed regular mobs for gold to get a riding mount at 40, and had to single loot mobs. I hope they bring a lot of that back.
Please bring back old talent system in retail
My only genuine gripe with Classic is the intentional lack of Achievements. Why not give people the ability to show off their accomplishments and have structured goals to work toward? The fact that Discord exists in and of itself means Classic will never be the same experience as Vanilla.
Look up 1.12 patch for Vanilla wow... The game is going to be as identical as possible, no changes. Including talents, abilities and time it takes to regenerate mana/hp...
I don't really understand what you are saying here "Discord exists in and of itself means Classic will never be the same experience as Vanilla."... if you are talking about from a voice communication side this has always existed in wow it was just team speak and ventrilo previously, discord is not a new concept is just currently the most refined. To actually add achievements in classic goes against a lot of the design principles in the game, In vanilla achievements did not exist they were not really necessary you knew if someone was an amazing player in vanilla just by looking at them. When you saw someone with a title above their head such as grand marshal you knew this guy was a high ranked PvPer if they had tier gear you knew that they had ACTUALLY done current content, if they had Thunderfury Blessed Blade of the Windseeker, or Sulfuras, Hand of Ragnaros, you knew knew they had been working for a long time on aquiring that. Then when AQ came out you would have 1 person with the scarab lord title as well as the mount and know they lack a life. These were true achievements and people knew it because it showed you were dedicated and there was no need for a list. Now all that said I am not going to say that an achievement list would be the most god awful thing ever, but i think that it is something you could easily create an add-on for, so that those who want an achievement list can have one and those who believe in no changes can have their way as well.

IhatethatcolorizedlogoWhy couldn't they just add "CLASSIC" to original WOW logo?
Here we go. Classic servers used to be Standalone but we’re changing that with modern technology. Yeah right. Prepare for CRZ in Classic. Sigh.
u gotta earn that good looking gear
A better option for talents in the live modern WoW would be to have a "talent pack" that was basically a recreation of each spec based on EXPANSION. So you would just pick the expansion and your toolkit would be revised to mimic what the spec was like during WotLK, or Cata, or whatever.Currently there are 7 expansions, currently there are 7 talent trees. Remove the trees and make talent kits based on each expansion instead. This way you only have to balance the kit as a whole, no interplay by mixing/matching talents like there currently is. This also retains the FLAVOR of each class, if you don't like the enhancement shaman maelstrom system then pick one of the earlier expansion talent kits that didn't use that system! Blizz would have the freedom to make more radical changes to classes without ever worrying about losing class identity because they would ALL be available for people still.I think it's the best possible solution but can't seem to get enough eyes on it for the topic to blow up.
