As some of you might have seen, World of Warcraft is currently up for the “Fan Favorite MMORPG” awards as part of CBS’s first Gamer’s Choice Awards, a completely fan voted award show for gaming and esports.
We just wanted to take some time to thank our community for nominating us and continuing to support World of Warcraft now for more than 14 years. We also want to congratulate the rest of the nominees and say that we feel very humbled to be in a category with so many amazing games created by talented teams across the world. The MMORPG genre is a very unique one and we love seeing the support everyone shows for their favorite worlds and universes that we all log into and get lost in creating our own stories.
If you’d like to participate you can register an account and vote for you favorite games in all of the respective categories. Here is where you can do that:
Thanks again for all of your support and passion over the years. World of Warcraft has been evolving for more than a decade with your support and we hope to continue that into the future with you.
-The World of Warcraft Team
I always love haters hate for no reason on something they do not clearly care and always waste their time/effort to continue doing they do not like something without any reasoning behind anything just hate speech at this point and trash talk ...
HELL YEA!
If it wasn't for the fact that other people mention them, I wouldn't even know other games than WoW existed (aside from the other Blizzard ones, of course).... and even other people mentioning them gives me no incentive to wonder what they are.
Haha bad timing for this one...
I think I would register there just to vote against Blizzard games. They are so rude, that they release cashgrabbing polished turds (last expansions and blizzcon even less polish, than usual) and want us to support them and vote?
Sorry, but for battle of bugs wow aint getting prize.
i have been having a great time on BFA, so gonna vote for them.
Fan Favorite Fall ReleaseFallout 76Oh man...This will be fun.
I can't justify voting for wow this year by any mean. Sorry Blizzard , but you should improve your game.
I voted ESO because its the best MMO currently. If you had asked me during Legion, I would have voted for WoW.
There is some paid bunch of actors in all this "Gamers choice awards"... in other side MMO are kinda wack this days so its easy to calm even without paid ;p
Although I don't play any of the other MMORPGs beside WoW I'd rather vote for any other game than WoW in it's current state. Also favorite streamer? While I do like some of the streamers that have been "nominated" there are smaller streamers that are better/funnier to watch than most of these guys.
For anyone wondering why is Diablo 3 on a voting for games released in 2018, do remember that this is Diablo 3: Eternal collection, a re-release remastered edition of the game that includes Reaper of Souls, and Rise of the Necromancer in the package. This re-release came out last year for PC, Xbox, and PS4, but it came out a few weeks ago for the nintendo Switch, where it has become quite a hit.THAT nintendo Switch version is the one being voted for this time, as it still technically counts as a 2018 game.Same logic applies to Fan Favorite Fall Release containing the disaster known as Fallout 76.Regardless of that game's quality, it still released in fall, and it still belongs to one of gaming's biggest franchises, so its on the list. Though I still wonder why that list was so small, there were a few other games released during this season that didn't make it there.hurk........Man, taking a look at some of these categories, the voting for some of them is easy enough, but the voting on others is HARD.I mean, they put a category for "Most Desired Franchise Resurrection", but then put in there gems of gaming like Half-Life, Chrono Trigger, and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. How the hell am I supposed to chose!?!?!?! O_O I want ALL OF THEM to come back.
