The idea for artifact weapons sounds like blizzard went from:______Blizzard: You may choose any weapon here to slay your enemy and claim victory Player: cool, I will take this giant swordBlizzard: OK----------To:______Blizzard: here is your sword, now go kill stuffplayer: um.. can I get an axe?Blizzard: no!--------
I like the artefacts idea, but I have some concerns/suggestions that I want to add.1. My concern: I duel spec with my Paladin and since I am in a small guild I may be asked to heal/tank or even sometimes dps. They should allow for this so that we can still switch spec without loosing to much ability. My suggestion: Make the dropped relics use the same system as heirlooms. That way if you have a relic you can use it on any of the 3 artefacts for your spec. You can even use it on all 3.2. My concern: Professions that used to make weapons will take a hit.My suggestion: Add dedicated slots for profession relics on these weapons. That way there is are dedicated slots for dropped relics and dedicated slots for profession relics. This way professions have a live throughout the expansion. Or at create weapon buffs. The same as you would drink a flask you should also add your weapon buff from other professions every 2 hours.3. My concern: What happens at the end of the expansion? Do we leave the weapons behind? Thrall carried Doomhammer from Warcraft 3 to WoW 6. It will just suck to leave the weapon behind. My solution: If this is a success allow us to keep our artefacts in the future, but release new artefacts with the following expansions. If you want a new look, go with the new artefact, but if you really like yours then you can just upgrade it with the new relics of the new expansion.4. My concern: Another class have the weapon that I want! I want to play with Gorehowl. Just imagine another strength class get that and not mine.My solution: In a later patch they should open up the possibility for other classes to hunt down artefacts they want.I am really looking forward to this feature!
I am looking forward to this feature as well, just concerned that it will get dropped as soons as a new expac launches. Like garrisons.
Getting a feeling we will have problems with healers in legion. First there will be the huge wave of demon hunters, a class that can't heal. Then we have the whole artifact thing and very few will go for the healing artifact first since leveling will be a pain with it. They need to introduce something very shiny to healers to keep them healing.
I really hate why we still have limit on char creation per server. Just cos my server cant be connected with other shouldnt mean that i should be limited to 12 while other can easily do 24 or even 36 in same cases. My server is labeled as recommended starting server but its dead for a long while now, hopefully they will do something about it and shift recommended server to somewhere else for a change. We might have active people due to being starting server but most dont reach at max level even to be able to raid and such, hence very poor logic why it wasnt connected with any other realm.
DH is just a new rogue :/ (again, monk was already one IMHO).What I find sad too is that they will add a "insta lvl100 token" like they did with the lvl90 in WoD, but, each month more people have a full set of max leveled chars. Myself, I have almost a full set, other chars being bank and AH alts. I'd prefer some sort of "service token", which you could use for an insta 100, or a rename, a realm transfer, a race change, faction change etc...Anyway, a bit disappointed from Legion for now, hope that I'll be selected for the beta so I could better see if I'll buy it or make a pause until next extension :)
The 12th slot was good news and is required for some players. I play on Stormrage and this realm has not been linked to any other, currently. This means that I only have 11 slots right now and not 22. The 12th will allow me to maintain 1 of each class still.Thanks.
I really think that the demon hunter should have a second spec half melee and half ranged, using the sword in one hand and the night elves boomerang in the other (the one used by the sentinels)... something like you throw the boomerang, it will bounce on some random enemies around and in the meantime you fight with the sword until it returns back (cooldown). I think this mixed melee/ranged style would be more interesting than a simple melee as it has been presented, mostly because it looks like a fury warrior mixed with a rogue...As for professions, the biggest issue right now is the number of reagents, for example an engineer requires so many different type of materials that is just impossible to keep them all in the reagent bank. It would be really great if they'll do something about this problem, like using old reagents for new things (instead of adding new reagents every expansion), or just remake the reagent bank so that it can hold every kind of reagent that your profession requires...
Definitely loving the information about the up coming class and expansion. -Thank you.
OMW ZERO INfo about acc-share transmog, course if it's be @just a mogit in wow@ it will be worsed type of the system, why they couldn't make it like in GW2, diablo? alot of stuff acc bound in wow already
I am curious about the relic system for artifact weapons, and thus far it feels like the more info Blizz provides the more confusing it becomes. When I first heard that relics were taking the place of old weapon drops I assumed that they would literally replace weapon drops (i.e. Boss drops relic with all the stats we're used to seeing on weapons, socketing the relic gives your artifact those stats, and socketing a new relic replaces those stats with the stats of the new relic). However, during their video Perculia and Panzer sound as if they're speculating on the idea of relics functioning like the Crystallized Fel from Archimonde, slowly and incrementally increasing your weapons stats as you accumulate more and more of them.To be honest I hadn't considered the second option at all and while Panzer makes a strong case against the practice in the video there is some interesting potential in rewarding players with incremental increases that slowly build over time. It could potentially help tie in with Blizzard's desire to keep dungeons relevant as well. Five mans would undoubtedly drop relics with smaller boosts than raids, but depending on how the cap works out you could potentially have players who've cleared mythic Gul'dan still getting useful drops from heroic five mans. (Whether that's a good thing or not is a whole different matter.)I still feel that the "Relic's as weapons in all but name" option is more likely, but assuming Blizzard could manage the massive balancing nightmare that would ensue, slowly growing our weapons' power like the legendary rings could be an intensely rewarding experience.
RE: Transmog issues with 2-hander vs 1-hander + offhandThey did mention that they're "improving the transmogrification system, allowing you to collect item appearances and save your favorite outfits without sacrificing precious bag space". It would be super great if they let you transmog 2-handers into a 1-hand + offhand and vice versa. I know it would cause some visual issues, for instance, a prot paladin transmogging to look like they're carrying a 2-hander, but this isn't an unsolvable issue.
Just saying, I just cant my "conga hat" or at least a "conga deplyer NPC"?Don't want a "dance studio"... but CONGA HAT, pelase! Also, would LOVE some two or three more slots for the garrisson.I Do "need" ONE Mayor Plot Slot... could do with a "Medium" one more, and the Small Plots ARE "just right" (could use one more, bayme)... :D
Panser: "They never marketed it as a Q&A"Hahahaha! Even Lore thought it would be a Q&A.
Q&A was not what i was expect....I guess we'll have to wait for blizzcon for more cool stuff :)
