Warning: blood elves ears and brows clipping through this set as always.
I understand the complaint for brows ... But what did you expect with ears? That your blood elf character takes them off like some cosplay accessoire before putting a hoodie on?
And the winner of: worst looking ever warlock tier is..... Yea... Tier 21. :(
second ugliest warlock set after throne of thunder tier, warlocks always have awesome tiers, this and ToT are not to my liking.
What has happened to WoW? The tier sets used to be beautiful, but the last 4-6 years they are terrible. There are so many beautiful costumes and we get stuck with this crap every patch.
The whole Mythic/Non-Mythic design divide started in WoD is starting to really hurt some armor sets. Sure the Mythic sets might look really cool, but for some classes recently (eg Hunters and Warlocks this tier) the non-Mythic sets are really really dull and not worthy of tier status. They really do look like generic green/blue armor sets.
Why are people complaining? This set looks awesome! It makes my top 5 of tiers for warlocks. Reminds me of the Nazgûl from LOTR as well.
I just find this tier set...and most others from 21 to be bull and boring to look at. Some of them almost make me think they would be from a green quality drop if I didn't know any better. But that's just my opinion, I won't be going after it regardless. Hell I still haven't even stepped foot into Tomb.
No Sir, I don't like it. This tier is so lackluster. It is a serious disappointment. If you look back over the lock tier sets that we've had they've all been pretty awesome. Comparing this new tier to those of the past it makes it look even more bland. I'm thinking someone in the design dept. fell asleep at their computer while putting this one together =(
Im really sick of this red and blue alliance vs horde crap, i want the red tier set as a alliance warlock. so annoying
I would like to propose a design for the next Tier sets.In the next Tier, shoulders should be modeled after the Cathedral of Light in Stormwind City, for Alliance, and an Orgrimmar Zeppelin Tower for Horde. The shoulders should be on a 1:1 scale with the original, and balanced so that players look perfectly natural while moving around beneath them.If you're gonna go all out, go all out.
Warlock normal tier looks like quest reward gear. I thought that when the patch was on the PTR and I still think that. Rather sad that Blizzard's effectively switching to having mythic with the cool sets and LFR-heroic with questing sets. Would be better if they just had particle effects specific to mythic as well as specific color schemes but otherwise leave the 4 difficulties looking the same. But hey, now those in normal-heroic know how LFR players feel. The WoD LFR sets were so craptastic they reused them for everything and are still reusing them. They really were effectively questing gear slapped in a raid. If you do normal/heroic raiding and don't like getting slapped with gear that looks like a quest reward, then you can bet that LFR players don't like it, either. If you aren't going to tolerate crap gear for your tier, then don't expect LFR players to bend over and accept it, either.
Armor looks have been so disappointing, I wish they at least had the decency to update the way creating armor works to give us some real, unique appearances. But we're in 2017 still using towel cloaks. Wheres the Arthas-styled cloaks? Khadgar-like robes? D':I wonder why they keep making these spiky, huge, weird looking sets since Cata.
Really digging the style of this tier set. Simple, but still very warlock-ish, without all the cliche horns and tassels a lot of the older sets have.
I'm a big fan of this kind of simple and modest designs which has been a trend in several set designs lately, rather than overflowing with decorations and horns and such.
