Ah Ashran, one of the weird many thing that people don't like on WoD, it still confuses me.
Everything About That Place No One Queues For
If Garrison AH pieces didn't drop from this place it would be put out.
Is there anything in the guide that says how to get in? I can queue for hours and have no luck...
What is the actual point of this guide?
Wasn’t it hinted somewhere that the Ashran achievements are moving to legacy with the Battle for Azeroth expansion? If so, this will be extra useful now for those who want to get them in the bank before they become inaccessible.I’ll chime in as someone who quite enjoyed Ashran during WoD, once I got the hang of it and figured out how to guide my teammates for optimal victories. It’s a bit daunting and confusing at first but, like with many things in the game, becomes quite doable once you figure out what’s going on (which many folks will hopefully find the guide useful for).
Most common explanation is to encourage people to queue it (and make waiting times shorter by it).
I haven't been able to get into Ashran even once since Legion started, I thought it was bugged all this time.
Try queue as the opposite faction, you can do this in Dalaran Sewers or outside Warspear/Stormshield.This guide contains lots of outdated information but it's solid overall, definitely not updated, as it claims.
A guide for content from (about to be) 2 expansions back that literally nobody does anymore? Interesting.
I don't think this guide writer realises that noone goes to Ashran since Legion launched. I've tried several times over the last 18 months and you can spend all day in the queue for it never to pop.
The Q requires 80 people to be in q simultaniously. I've been told this almost never happens in EU, and US side you're out of luck unless you're playing near prime time on weekends. I've frequently been in q's for over 4 hours, only for the match to end in 5 minutes because not enough of the 80 people clicked accept.
But Ashran delete in BfA...
Nothing against the person who made the guide, I'm sure a fair amount of time and effort was invested into it but I'm a little bit dumbfounded as to why an Ashran guide gets to be on the spotlight right now. WoD was one of the most disliked expansions (ranking even lower than Cataclysm) and Ashran wasn't exactly the pinnacle of the expansion either. We've also, content-wise, reached the end of Legion with BfA on the horizon so it does feel out of place to highlight this guide.
Waste everyone's time.
you mean quing up for it and never getting anywhere because you never get in even after 4hrs in que?
