You still see a lot of secrets in Tempo Mage but they often come from cards like and . Still, I don't think playing secrets in Tempo Mage is as anti-tempo as implied. You can get them cheap with and they're a reasonably cheap way to trigger , or . Particularly when there's nothing to use removal on.One good thing about the lack of secrets in Standard is, if you do run them, you don't have to worry about any more!Secret Paladin is still a real pain in Wild, I'm finding. Battlecries trigger before the minion is considered to be on board, so your Mirror Entity won't appear until he's finished casting all his spells. I do think the snapshot for Mirror Entity is taken as soon as the minion hits the board, so he'd most likely be a 7/5 regardless of buffs, and you'd still get him even if he's killed off before his battlecry ends, although this is a bit of speculation.
