Something I've been doing is just the Dragonriding world quests, which reset twice per week resulting in 3500 gold per character in about 15 mins of work. Then there's the Weekly renown quest for Dream Wardens (1500 gold) and Superbloom quest reward bag. Doing this once on a character per week can get you between 6000 and 7000 gold. Then when the worldquests reset you can get an extra 3500 gold per character bringing to around 10,000 per character per week. You can do the worldquests on under lv 70s, but you don't get the weekly quests.I've been doing it on 13 chars so it normally gets to 130,000 gold per week.Probably not the most lucrative but in terms of effort setting things up you just go and do it without having to research profession crafting stuff, don't have to level profession on each char etc.
wow no way, a post about a niche thing people like to do with comments degrading them for their hobby, ngl im shocked
What is their multicraft at because Dracothyst sells for negative gold.
Looks like this post destroyed the Encrypted Twilight Text price :)
Honestly not a fan of all the gold farming that happens in this game. People sitting on millions do drive prices up for crafts for regular raiders that don't want to turn WoW into a job
just want to throw it out there that the Zaralek Weekly Quest still has a chance to reward the 14K gold as well. So join the Researchers Event (in LFG for 1000 rep guaranteed) and 500 rep saved from last week's rep item.
Many of these farming techniques require alts. Regardless of how things have been historically, is amount of gold one can make with weeklies and profession cooldowns something that we want to scale proportionally with the number of characters?
we need a addon that tells ya when magpie is up on all your toons no matter what zone they are on if you want to bank gold lol. That would be awsome, for you peeps with alt armys anyways.
I usually just sell a token if I'm running too low on gold. Minimum effort and while I'm never buying anything crazy, just normal consumables for raids and m+, repairs and tmog. It's enough.
Im running with 52 characters on Community feast. There's a lot of weeks when i didnt get even 1 pouch :-)
In the end, what every single one of these posts boils down to is:"If you want to make gold, make an army of alts."There's either making millions of characters or boosting. There's no other good way to earn gold in retail as of now, unless you already have several tens of million gold to begin with and can flip stuff on the auction house. And frankly, I believe that is by design. A WoW Token costs 20€, yet is worth only 13€. That is over 50% more expensive. If half the players buy their subscription with gold, while the other half spend real life money on gold, half the player base spends 20€ instead of 10-13€ a month on their subscription.Blizzard isn't incentivised to give us any way to earn money that doesn't divide the community into boosters and boostees or alt army owners and singular character players. If they keep it as it is, with some people struggling to have enough gold for flasks, crafts, potions, repairs, etc., especially now that you can't really self provide for a profit anymore, given the entire inspiration multicraft resourcefulness slot machine, while others have more gold than they could ever spend, they'll inevitably earn more money than if they didn't artificially increase the divide between player wealth.
