Nice and tidy, but you should probably get around to adding Blizzard's response to the whole "same face syndrome" issue in the significant tweets thing
I'm very confused by the improper use of checkboxes for choosing item upgrade levels. The Wikipedia article on checkboxes says: "Often, a series of checkboxes are presented, each with a binary choice between two options. Then the user may select several of the choices. Compare this to a radio button, in which only a single option is selectable from several mutually-exclusive choices."Item upgrade levels should be chosen by radio buttons, not by checkboxes. Please fix this in your website.Edit: Better wording for clarification, typo fixed. Sorry about that, it's late here in Europe.
Great work like always !
Demo is underrepresented because the Warlocks up there strongly favor Aff/Destro, not because it's weak .....Does Celestalon even know the Warlock class at all? Demo compared to Destro/Aflic is way underpowerd such if say u are a Demo lock u cant get a group to raid, just look at any simucraft, logs
Looks like Leeeeeeeeeeeeeroy! is becoming a legacy achievement then.A little piece of WoW history gone.
What's the point of adding the Legacy category for achievements? There doesn't seem to be any real logic behind what is staying an FoS and what is going into the Legacy category.
warr class changes look good so far,
I Play Demo since Wotlk and never had problems finding a Group.Yes, actually it is bit weaker than Destro or Affli - MathematicallyI would say on 10 Destros there are 1 Demo lock. But most cant play Destro, even if its easy to play they are not able to Master it. And because Demo is hard to learn and even harder to Master, most people give it up and chance to Destro. Beat most Destros in every encounter in SoO with my Demo. To get it close to Destro/Affli, theres only one thing to do: Remove the Doom/Wild Imp nerf we got because of the lei Shen trinket.
Thanks for the detailed checkbox feedback--we will have to do further revamps to our item pages to prep for WoD, so things are subject to change.
So is wowhead having to redo all of it's item PKs or just the new items in WoD? Seems like a huge pita. Is there a multiplier/formula for each item's upgrade or do you have to store each version? I would assume it's bit like the current valor upgrade setup.
We'll have to redo Tier 16 items and WoD items. It's similar to the valor upgrade setup, but there were some things about item upgrades which were unideal for tools--for example, it would be nice if you searched for a certain ilvl and it returned 4/4 upgraded items, but the current setup didn't work that way. We don't want you to filter for Mythic loot and have the resulting tooltips show Normal-mode info because that's the default info on the item ID.This system is also expanding to cover gem sockets and random stat combos, so we want to make sure our existing filters and tools work the same as before and also appear user-friendly. There's also some new data we haven't 100% figured out yet, some item bonuses that seem to be purely for internal purposes, and additional bonuses that requires addons in beta to get ...so it definitely is a WIP. We've dealt with a lot of data changes throughout MoP, like NPCs changing to accommodate Flex tech, and this is definitely the biggest change. But we've made great progress so far and we have a ton of experience adapting to issues like this.Right now we're addressing tooltips and multiple displayIDs on pages, as well as some Garrison polish. Hopefully I will have another update to post soon :)
good post
