nice for hunter... I might have a little more control over barrage
love my guildie who told me about farming the rat mount/20,000 sightless eyes yesterday
New visual effects of Barrage are AMAZING! and damage radius is reduced too ! 2 stones with 1 bird ;)
woot, i literally tweeted this 4 hours ago and did a reddit post on it and BAM fixed! makes me wonder if they listened to me or the forum posts from beta... >.>
often Hunters "accidentally" pull additional enemies and MD to healers with Barrage :D
im confused.which pic is new and which is old?
Also UNDOCUMENTED WoD set nerfs.
Both pics are new from different angles.
I will admit I'm going to miss being able to conveniently pull everything with Barrage when out in the world, and the visual effect could use some improvement when it comes to the arrow spray, but overall this change to Barrage should be a bit of an improvement. The ability is not an easy one to fix without the glyph system (or something similar).
This new version of Barrage is absolutely attrocious. This was their idea to make it EASIER to use? It makes it so much HARDER. Before, you could see what you were hitting. Now, you can't tell what you've hit until it's running at your face to kill you. This new animation is supposed to make it easier to see your area of effect? Maybe if it were a nice, clearly defined green targeting zone highlighted on the ground. But it's this wild, unintelligible mess. The only conceivable way this would help you see where you're shooting is if you played from a strictly top down perspective, which no one does because it would be awful. And that wouldn't work with the current max zoom anyway. You can't zoom out far enough to see the end of the cone. And that's just the visual. That's disregarding that this is a pure straight performance nerf as well. Reducing the area of effect on an area of effect spell, but not compensating the damage in return is a plain nerf.I'm telling ya, it keeps seeming less and less crazy that Blizz is secretly trying to steadily kill off the hunter class. This stealthy death by a thousand cuts seemed like a crackpot fever dream at first, but the more if this kind of stuff they keep doing, the more it seems less insane.
GOD i hope they ban the realm hopping addons soon. So freaking frustrating.....
It's absolutely atrocious! While the visual effect is much better, because of the stacking of mastery, the width and range is even worse for pulling mobs...
Fishing trait now indeed gives gray vendor boots. Even without the trait I was getting those so whats really changed? Did they actually implement something usefull for the trait or just more useless bagspace usage now while fishing the artifact upgrades :(
Undocumented change: Class trial characters can not longer get battle stone quest from the garrison menagerie.
Yet still no fix for the "Player Experience" not being rewarded as an item in your bag or added to your xp bar?Glad to see Barrage getting adjusted@Perculia Not sure if anyone picked it up yet. But just saw that if you go to Dungeon Journal Cat: Legion. there are two new dungeons added. The Arcway and Court of Stars
So glad that "Every Paladin in the game is in my order hall" thing was a bug. Hopefully as they have included all of the Legion zones in their comment, places like the Helheim instance and the story of the Tauren in Highmountain that charges everywhere going "Hwurrrrr" will be fixed too. As amusing as it was fighting with hundreds of "Hwurrrr"ing Tauren for mobs and a boss, I would rather it was a bit more relaxed so I could enjoy the story. :DAnd lol at thinking changing the size and shape of Barrage will help the people who accidentally pull with it do so less often... I think most of that comes down to people not really understanding/caring how it works. It could be in a straight line and people would still pull the pack behind us on the other side of the room with it.
I absolutely hate the new barrage. I don't usually worry about it, but this new version has legitimately given me anxiety. I'm one of the hunters who makes absolutely sure that using our OP ability doesn't bring any extra mobs in. However, with the new spray and pray look, it means I pretty much have to switch. Kudos for trying, but it's a hard pass over here. I'm far too used to knowing where it's going and what not to do. Seeing those extra shots not doing anything won't get easier.
Definitely not a fan of the new barrage. Having the bullets spray everywhere instead of just on pulled targets removes the visual clue for which are actually being hit. I'm finding that since the change I can't tell what I've pulled until it's already beating me up. Personally I'm completely baffled to how this could be considered an improvement.
