I have been wanting a reason to pick-pocket more. Sweet
This makes me want to level my rogue
My little rogue will be pleased to know of this.
Inventory will be full of sh**t again.. not amused!
*Strong Bad voice*Not again!Oh well. We'll have to see what's on the vendor, as I'm sure they'll add one. WoD's was kinda dull, though, but at least there wasn't much else to do..
Yeah, gotta give the rogues a mini game so they'll stick to the class after Blizz has done a wonderful job butchering them and making them completely niche with the removal of agonizing poison making the only spec that doesn't rely on RNG trash.
Where was all of this when I was leveling my Rogue :/
Yesss! More rogue flavor. I really appreciate that it's automatically turned into currency, too. Way better than WoD!
Should have been in from the start... 30cp a pick pocket was a joke.
Pickpocketing a measly handful of copper coins is the only issue I've had with the Legion so far. After over a decade of playing the rogue as a main char I had developed a steady habit of pickpocketing any and every mob that I possibly could, only to lose this habit since the release of Legion. I thought nerfing pickpocketing was a huge mistake and I'm really happy that Blizzard seems to be ready to do something about fixing it.
this is neat. I wish they'd let you buy the warlords items with them, if there is no apparent vendor...
This is the kind of content that would have been implemented at the beginning of an expansion, like the Dingy Coins in WoD.By introducing it now, in the middle, it provides a new thing to explore instead of being one of the many, many new things to figure out at the start.I like this kind of incremental discovery and it gives me hope for the longevity of Legion and WoW itself.
"Quintessence from WarcraftPets also pointed out that there are several pickpocketing pets, Dig Rat and Sneaky Marmot, which could also be related." I would not call 2 pets "several". Definition of several: more than two but fewer than many. Not trying to be a grammar Nazi, its just annoying when people try to make out something to be more than it is.
I see Blizzard learned from Griftah. This is a bit of an improvement, though the Coin of Air loot numbers may need tuning.
Took them long enough to put something in. No lockboxes from pickpocketing, no random purples and so on. Pickpocketing definitely isn't as lucrative as it used to be.
And with the patch we've learned that there are indeed several vendor items for the new coins, including the aforementioned pets.
I'm having a problem with the pickpocketing. I have all three lamps and I am pickpocketing everything that I am allowed to pickpocket and i am not getting any of those special coins. Is there a bug? Was it only for a week? Am I just going crazy and need a fresh pot of coffee? Help!
