You and Kripp have exactly the same ideas on the cards (shown here).. Did you made the review together?https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0_wRKgvJpQoThe points made are really.. "on point" hehe.. good stuff.. Thanks for the written review!
You are seriously underestimating Keeper of Uldaman which is imo one of the best cards in the set and definetily much better than murloc knight. I also think your undervaluing like every discover card, Discover is in most cases better than 'draw a card' because you get to choose from 3 cards and thus have lot bigger chance of getting something you need in the current game state.
I think is being dismissed a bit quickly. The stats are bad for trading but they are certainly good enough to require another card or minion to deal with it. You're not going to want to leave a 6 attack minion on the board. Meanwhilst you get to add a spell and a minion in one card, which is great for decks like Tempo Mage which synergize so well with spells. Plus, the selectivity of the spell draw is much better than . If you're looking for an AOE board clear you have a 1 in 3 chance of pulling one. If you're looking to freeze a huge minion you have a 43% chance to find one, if you're looking for that last bit of face damage to bypass taunt you have a 50% chance to draw it.The other advantage over of course, is that it's not a legendary! Legendaries can be hard to come by!
Looks like can't summon 7 or 7 . It only summons 1 per murloc that died that game, up to 7:https://twitter.com/PlayHearthstone/status/663889283573399552
Keeper of Uldaman is very useful, in my opinion: you can transform a enemy's Fel Reaver into a 3/3 or buff a recruit to make it a 3/3 minion.
As others, I like the . It's not as strong of a "nerf card" as if you play it on your opponent's minion, but it's more versatile, since you can use it to buff your own minions (even a recruit); hero power + Keeper gives you a 3/3 and a 3/4 for 6 mana, which is a pretty good deal. You get better value if you combo it with other 0, 1, or 2 drops (, , or even jump to mind). Also, since it affects health, you can use him as a pseudo-heal, potentially doing things like giving you more cards out of an or removing a minion's enrage status. All this for 1 mana more than , and in a common? Sign me up!
so a guy i played 2 mins ago had 2x Forgotten Torch ( wtf?) and it is too strong the 3 mana 3 dmg get 3 mana fireball is just OP.any ideas how the @#$% did he get the card?
entomb op af. plz nrf.
Mounted Raptor: Correction, you mean there are a lot of vanilla 1/2 and 2/1's for 1 mana. The odds of you getting an injured kvaldir or flame imp are low.Explorer's Hat: Would be great in face, especially in order to secure a kill. You basically get +1/+1 on every minion you play, even better in the late game.Desert Camel: Actually, it is strictly worse than Leokk, and Misha, and probably Huffer (since you probably play face, and any non-face doesn't want huffer anyway)Animated Armor: not unique, since Mal'Ganis existsEthereal Conjourer: I could see this in freeze or flamewaker mage. It's something for your opponent to deal with, while giving you another spell to combo.Keeper of Uldaman: A great tech card, imagine it against secret pally, or handlock, or really any deck with big minions (so no face, zoo, or feezemage, basically). Well worth the inclusion.Excavated Evil: Clearly you've never played a control deck in your life. If only priests had contol...Entomb: a strictly better Rycycle, no complaintsSeriously, you and Kripp, how did you get to where you are with this horrible ability to review cards?
Recycle costs 6 mana, and picks an enemy minion, shuffling it into your opponent's deck, a minion that is HIS.Now talking about a card that would remove a minion from my opponent's side, a minion that I can choose giving me extraordinary tempo and an extra card, placing it in my deck, possibly winning me the game, well compared to Recycle that would have cost like 15 MANA RIGHT? o_oNo, Entomb costs 6 mana. A card that does like the triple of what Recycle does costs the same. Oh and Entomb is a common and Recycle is a Rare. Well done Blizzard
This may be feeding the troll, but...
Space Wizard pointed out a very good point about . When it's shuffled into your opponent's deck it denies them the card draw for that turn. Unless he wants to clear his own board with it and give it back to you, it's a dead card in his hand. If he gives it back to you, you can do it to him again! That could really mess up his tempo, particularly if he's playing aggro. Also, in general, Priests have higher health minions than their opponent's so this card is likely to hurt the non-priest player more than the priest player when played. It would be especially strong when comboed with and something like or a buffed up or .
