I actually tried my hand at a Warrior a month or so. Granted, it wasn't Protection. However, I'm glad to read so much passion. Sure, it's a little jarring when it comes to the bug fixes. However, I'm just glad they're fixed those.
Always wanted to main Prot Warrior for some reason.. maybe now is the time
Really makes me wanna do some Prot play as a Fury main
I'd like to see a prot warrior meta again in M+, hopefully they won't tune this spec to the ground just before release.
Played Blood DK in shadowlands and just tried prot warrior in beta.. very fun, much hype!
I've been playing around with Prot Warrior in the beta and though I am certainly no expert on the class, in fact, I'm probably closer to clown level, I feel I've found a fun build to even use Prot as my levelling/questing/PVE main spec. Sure not as potent as Fury or Arms, but I've always liked the sword and shield theme and am happy it performs well enough for me to use from 60 - 70 outdoor content.
I have been a prot main for a looong time now, even through SL. I am super excited for the coming changes. Prot is looking like it will be a really great time this expac.
Best blend and no mention of Gladiator Stance? Hoo boy!
I was a Prot Pally main for most of SL, but I have started to play Prot warrior in 9.2.5 and it has been a ton of fun. Knowing that Prot Pally is not in a good spot for DF and seeing Prot Warrior be goated, I am glad that I am switching to Prot Warrior in DF. Ready to charge in and thunder clap some cheeks.
Have been playing prot exclusively since TBC (and I really mean exclusively). Even through the sh!tshow that was Shadowlands. Protection warrior needed one good buff/spell to be competitive. Instead, it got multiple buffs/improvements. To the point it almost feels unreal how much better protection warrior will be. Tens and tens of % flat-out less damage taken (bit cheap, I know), suddenly insane increase in rage generation, massive increase in dps, massive increase in self-healing, massive increase in mobility, massive increase in uptime of main defensive cooldowns, new absolutely amazing spells... It's a protection warrior's wet dream.
Prot Warriors mentioning 2 total bugs that were fixed before the writer could even post the article, while prot pallys never managed to go below the 50~35 bugs mark the entirety of the beta cycle to properly test the class. Not that we would have gotten much more feedback if they did but...
I love my prot warrior, but haven't really played it for real in years. Looking forward to breaking the dry spell.
For me, both tree examples are literally identical but based on wording they weren't supposed to be.
I don't even tank that much, but having tried Prot Warrior on Beta, I must agree that it is AMAZING!
Shield Charge? AW SICK
