What about Garrosh? We need Garry!
Based on how Kyrian campaign ended, i'm sure there will be more story to come in future patches cause the way it ended with Uther shows me there's more to come with him.
I speculated that Citadel of Loyalty and/or House of Rituals may be next tier raid(s), but apparently those have been reclaimed in story scenarios, so meh.
Id love to see Uther retake some of his old appearance (least his old armor) and maybe become the Paragon of Memory, a new temple for those who wish to serve but also remember their former livesThe forsworn had valid concerns after all, but there are still those who probably think they are better off without their pastsUther thus would lead the part of the kyrian that want to remember
Ok, throwing out some random ideas: For the Kyrian raid, we dwell into Uther's memories and relive important moments of his life to allow him to either fully atone, or show the Kyrian that some peoples strong will and ideals rely on following the code under which they lived. And for the Necrolord raid (if there even is one, and if certain theory is true) we rescue the Primus so the military might of Maldraxxus is properly restored before fully assaulting the Maw.
My thoughts: For the Revendreth one: The Medallion of Wrath was given to the Jailer as a token of alliance, the Jailer then gives it to either Anduin, Sylvanas or Arthas to carry out his wrath agtainst the userper Bolvar. OR the medallion could be with some other unknown Venthyr who's tasked with harvesting Wrath, and is the one overlooking 'redeeming' Garrosh as he was known not only for his pride but also for his hot-headedness. This unknown Venthyr could then lead a faction wanting to bring about the wrath of the Jailer or Sire Denathrius, this time maybe allying with Hellya and her mawsworn and creating a venthyr-mawsworn hybrid of sorts. For Bastion: The foresworn that remain loyal to the cause could then be approached by helya to officially become mawsworn and maybe strike from somewhere else, perhaps allying with the Maldraxxi that continue to attack bastion. While I can't think of something for Maldraxxus or Ardenweald, I do think that eventunally, the 'loser' factions which we defeated like the Foresworn, the other Venthyr harvesters, the drust could team up for one final attempt, aimed at oribos directy, We havent seen any Maldraxxi, Venthyr or Night Fae having a direct connection of sorts with the maw like the Mawsworn have so maybe that could be a thing going forward.
It is a bit odd because in the Maldraxxus storyline, Alexandros Morgaine feels put out because he was not assigned to the Kyrion group on account of his unwavering loyalty and commitment to doing good. He learns that it is because his memories are a source of strength and in Maldraxxus he can retain those but in Kyrion he would not.The Arbitrer sure f'd up with Uther if she put Uther in Kyrion but he is reliant on his memories. Although I suppose you could argue the Purpose is the Way and the Way is the Purpose and she put Uther there because the Purpose required Bastion to change and change is the Way and that is the Purpose we all need to support.
In the Venthyr storyline, we still need to collect the amulet of wrath from the stone-mother. We have a good chance to run into Garrosh there I'm sure.In the Nightfae storyline, we sent Huln High-Mountain to look for other night-warriors to share Tyrande's Burden. He has not yet returned. In the Necrolord Storyline, we haven't dealt with the betrayer Vyrax from the chosen yet. Also, Kel'thuzard is still free.I haven't played the Kyrians yet, but we only just got Uther on our side. I think that his testimony will kick of more problems. Also Helya is still on the run.
Final medallion, a way to save Tyrande from NW powers and the Primus could be in possession of the Jailer. Even Uther's other soul could be in the maw/torghast and the Jailer experimented on it and found the solution which Anduin should now execute. As the covenant realms are almost saved at this point the campaigns could focus into reactivate the arbiter and/or infiltrate the maw.
Ara'lon dying was a bit of a kick in the gut. Then you remember that most of the 'drust' you've been killing are hexed Night Fae, and the people you're helping all know and are friends with the people they and you are having to kill the whole time. One thing that's not always explicit, is what happens to people who die in the shadowlands. Constructs (who were once living mortals) are disembodied souls that can fade away iirc. he nature gods in the seeds fade away, but not exactly since their memories can be absorbed from seed husks by gorm. Shadowland natives (at least in Ardenweald) are implied to be re-absorbed into the ambient anima / environment, "His Dark Material"-style. Or maybe they're being born into the living world as an infant with no memory, did I see that suggested somewhere or did I just imagine it? Would the shadowlands natives even know?
Don't care when it drops, it's too soon anyways.
Well, of course future patches will add more chapters to campaigns, just as it was for the war campaign in BfA and the class campaign in Legion. And I also think the next raid will be something involving Kel'Thuzad, maybe with him as the final boss.
I have played through Kyrian and Night Fae so far. While the Kyrian story was complete, the Night Fae story contained 3 arcs, two of which felt unfinished. The night warrior arc ended abruptly after rescuing the same-sex couple. The Bwonsamdi arc ended with a plot hole: Mueh'zala's motive is not very convincing.
I want to know what happened to Tirion Fordring, a paladin, who like Uther, was a paragon of the light. And King Varien. Gul'dan only killed him, he did nothing with his soul. Also I am curious about the locations of Kings Ternas and Anastarian. And Sylvanas' mother and brother who won't be happy about her "life" choices.
