Is Underlight Angler getting new traits as well?
New traits are nice, but I am skeptical of them in a sense. While I recall there is new AK coming (which will help players catch up pretty nicely on traits later on), I don't like this design philosophy of emphasizing traits that give power and wish a utility-based approach was further emphasized.I guess Blizzard is stuck with it but there's something in common about criticism made against stuff like Legendaries, Artifact Traits (in context to allowing 54 traits to be active in PvP), and other features that provide a clear competitive edge. While I don't like some of the player behavior that comes with it, I do think Blizzard needs to better consider how they design around it in the interest of providing a more even playing field instead of slanting it further than it already is due to systems that have been around for ages (like players outgearing other players, which I wouldn't mess with for a number of reasons).Edit: To provide an example of the issue I'm trying to describe, players complained because of other content like MoP dailies feeling compulsory to do. There needs to be better balance between the casual perspective and the hardcore one and also acknowledge that anyone, regardless of their experience with a game or their background, can be a competitive player. I would rather not have a repeat of early Cataclysm.
I wonder what the trait changes to if outlaw rogues pick SnD as last tier talentcan someone check it?
so are they taking away are current 20 point talent and replacing with infinite if so that means I take a 3% damage loss
I am not sure whether I should save my Trait Points for these, or spend them on the current bonus one, the one that's just a flat damage increase. Any ideas? I personally doubt that you'll be able to have them stored up from prior patches, otherwise you'd be done with your artifact basically as soon as the patch hits.
mmm 2% damage reduction (at 4 points of trait) and buffs to a 3,5 min cooldown and to a 1,5 one for disc priest....lol
Umm...get your facts straight wowhead...just logged on/off of the 7.2 ptr and NONE of these traits are available for testing.
I think we need to see how this Infinite plays out. It sucks to lose 10% damage for something that took so much work to grind out for 3 more utility ranks.
A little lost on the "Infinite Trait". Can I always put more points into this trait with no cap? I also cannot distinguish which point on the tree is the infinite one (specifically ele, but any of them).
Yes I agree that is what he said but I havent seen any confirmation of what the system will look like or how it will work.
As a single spec player with a maxed out Artifact, I'm going to save them regardless. Putting them in my bank does me just as much good as putting them in an offspec.
Anything over rank 35 i think it was will be put back in as AP to be re-distributed amongst the new ones.
Affliction talents need a little more something. Always starved of soul shards in raid scenarios...
I don't like the fact my SP will be buffing other classes with a 600 haste buff, we aren't a utility class. Maybe its sour grapes for having to struggle so much to remain competitive and still be middle of the pack. These AP traits should be for SP only. I know Blizzard is trying to make us more appealing for bring-alongs in raids etc but it seems parasitic
