Ben Brode is one of the good things that like or not... does well to HS :)
Oh so it's just new board icons for the current game modes no actual new game modes? Got my hopes up for nothing
Might be an arena counter. That would be nice.
the counter on the arena with the X-X-[]. . . I personally don't like, for me is will only show what im a one game of loss my chain of 4 wins in arena.... i like the rest of they but personally is better if they quit the arena counter of the screen, just put the number of wins is enogh...
The arena counter icon might be a bit discouraging to some players, honestly. Seeing in your bottom bar how many losses you've had might push you to pressure to do well and then you might mess up. It's like at an exam. The clock's ticking, just a few more minutes left until it finishes! The more the minutes tick away, the more you feel like you've lost your train of thought and everything you wanted to write down is lost in a mish-mash of stress, performance anxiety and deadlines. By no means do Arena games have a counter, you must do this this fast! but the performance anxiety might still exist. For some people. I personally like the idea of keeping track not of my losses, but of my wins. It lets me realize just how good the opponent's deck is. :D
The counter-argument in favor of the arena counter showing losses is easy: If you're struggling in a match, and you know that you only have 0 or 1 losses so far, it's easier to say, "I can take this loss". It's only when you've got 2 losses that the pressure starts to build.
