I didn't know reaching rank 20 gave a mount pet and toy thanks for the guide wowheadBut now I have to REALLY level these guys
There are additional ability upgrades and passives the followers gain. My Farseer Ori have a passive that reduces his damage taken by 30%, and at rank 18 he gained a 50% damage passive, he also received an upgrade to his heal.
I have to say Neri is the one that's given me the most heartwarming moments of the six bodyguards. She truly is the most empathetic and caring of them all.Plus when she gave me the Princess Lea line, well that made me love her all the more.
I am honestly surprised the rank 20 reward is such a high disparity between each follower. It would make much more sense that you could choose the reward, or you first to 20 gives the mount, then pet, then toy, etc.
I was just coming here to post that; would find it much more useful to see the hidden upgrades.
Has anyone else noticed random days where there are only two follower dailies available?
Wish I knew my follower didn't give me a mount before choosing and leveling him to 20...
Unusually Wise Hermit Crab gives 75 rep to the selected bodyguard. You can select one of the inactive guards to give them the rep before you use the item by targeting them where they wait by the campfire.
Way too much grinding and "questing" for me. I do zone quests ONLY because its forced for flying or I wouldnt even bother with those.
I wish the bodyguard dailies rewarded us with a little bit of reputation. Most days I have a very limited amount of time to play, so I find myself skipping these and going for world quests/other daily quests that I know will get me some rep. Maybe once I get my BFA pathfinder I'll focus on ranking these guys up.
it's alot of grinding, I just hit level 20 on one bodyguard and that was 2.5 weeks of doing every quest every day. Hitting lvl 30 on all 3 would take maybe 3 months almost.
I can confirm the Snapdragon mounts are granted their faction's version to characters of both factions on the account once you have one of them just like the Alliance/Horde service medal mounts. The only faction-specific mounts that were added this expansion were the ones from the new factions like the Zandalari Empire or Proudmoore Admiralty. Even the Horde quest mounts like Kua'fon and the Child of Torcali are usable by both factions. It's pretty generous of Blizzard to do this and honestly pretty unexpected.
