I'm 150% agree about more frequent changes on Hearthstone, there are so serious balance issues that can be fixed with some card balancing instead of just adding more OP cards, and althoough I disagree abut Secret Paladin beeing fine, I have to admit that I think there are more decks mor unfair than this one, like Freeze Mage, Dragon Priest and Handlock, I consider theese decks total bullies buecause you feel useles seeing how theay are always on the lead and you are just getting hit wih no chance to comeback. Can't wait for the secong wing of LoE when I'm finally getting my s, because I think this card not only also has potential for constructed, but also is a good card for budget builds, and yes, this card will rock in arena.
Yep I think the fact that old paper games like magic had issues with changing cards (errata) not being acknowledged except in tournaments etcThe fact that heartstone is 100% digital, changes can be made, or reverted on the fly and I'm really suprised we dont see more.I'd really like old ironforge rifleman to get +1 more defence or attack for example :)
Blizzard have said they don't like to change cards unless they absolutely have to. It creates uncertainty and confusion with the casual player. One minute a card does one thing, the next it does something else, it just adds to the learning curve and detracts from the experience.
You also could craft that card and spend dust. And that crafted card could be AWWWSOME in your deck. But later card was changed "for balance purposes" and you maybe don't want this card anymore. But you've already spent dust.
It is extremely unlikely that they would tweak old "bad" cards. Instead they'll just release new versions in future expansions. For example - Evil Heckler and Booty Bay Bodyguard.
