The trick: Play the fight as intended.
If the tank holds the boss right in the middle of the two turrets (on the same side of course) two people can each enter a turret either side and still be able to hit him effectively doubling the damage
I think there was a mix up by the writer. I am fairly certain the Gunner drops the shrapnel for this 'trick'. This is the flamethrower mob you also see in the trash leading up to Nitrogg. Only the infantry mobs do not drop anything in my experience.
Ohh wow, mind-blowing trick! Now let me tell you trick I use for the last boss in GD that works 100% of the time: avoid the traps, avoid the lightning area and avoid the spear ;) I'm off to the dungeon journal to write some guides about more tricks on how to defeat bosses...
It's a shame that the other "article" about Opera Event is STILL there unedited after many comments pointing out very clear FACTUAL mistakes. Why would I consider taking advice from same author again who can't bother to go and rectify their mistakes?Mistakes can happen since we are all human beings. What matters is how you react to those mistakes.
In this weeks edition of "here's a trick from 8 years ago"
Anyone with a brain knows this 'trick'.Anyone who has done this fight before knows this 'trick'.Anyone who has read the dungeon journal knows this 'trick'.But this is WoW we are talking about, how many people tick off at least one of the three points above?I still go into this dungeon and players don't even collect the ammo to get the boss out of the canon and tanks will tank the dude in the middle of the room away from the wind and canons effectively making this 'trick' a much needed PSA to players who read Wowhead... but than again if players don't read the journal or know this fight by now than chances are they won't be reading Wowhead either.
You can also easily burn last boss in Kara from 66 to 33% as well on first ship, surprised they haven't posted that tip
Money make tips: Be a writer of useless articles in Wowhead. Nice trick for you all!
Sincere Feedback: It's "without further ado" not "to do." :)
This IS the traditional way to play this boss though...
Are there actually people NOT doing it like this?
