Does this mean I'll get 3 charges if i do it on 3 characters per week. Or is it 1 quest per week per account
1 quest per week most likely
''Completing a Dragon Isles World Event ,Siege on Dragonbane Keep grants 10% quest credit'' Hopefully layerhopping and spam completing this will be an option!
Only 1 charge a week, what a joke.
timegating the thing that was already timegated, this is incredibly lame
1) Does it have to be completed on one character, giving all characters on the account each a charge, or, can it be completed by say 4 characters each downing a raid boss and nothing else, which will give a charge to each character on the account.2) Is it actual account or Battletag account?
There also is going to be a way via PvP to fill this bar. Be nice to have more info at this point. Patiently waiting for something more official from Blizzard.
I have to say, calling it "Revival Catalyst" feels a lot weirder than "Inspiration Catalyst"
The tooltip in the screenshot says, 'limit 6 charges per character'. Hopefully this means that the unlocking of the catalyst itself is account wide, while the weekly quest, being toon specific, implies that each character can earn their own set of charges. (Similar to how the Shadowlands catalyst system worked)
Six charges can be held at once, or six charges is the max any character can accumulate? The latter would be bad for us transmog enthusiasts.
I thought it was confirmed that the weekly quest was account wide and all your toons can earn credit towards it. Once completed, every toon on your account has 1 charge. They said you can do the quest on one single character, or you can hop to other characters to contribute towards it.For example, I could go and do 10 grand hunts on 10 of my 13 toons and be done for the week. Grand Hunts are fast and spammable in the zones.
The quest is accountwide, the charges are not. Completing the accountwide quest once per week adds a charge to *EVERY* character, including future characters. Spending a charge on one character does not impact the charges other characters have. There is a cap of 6 charges per character so you can't make a character a year from now and have 50 charges. They'd have 6.My question is do PVP activities add progress? I would imagine that any instanced pvp activity or the big WM things like the spark quest or WM WQ would contribute.
It would be good if the article actually explained what the revival catalyst is and what it does. "Works like in Shadowlands" doesn't quite cut it, I didn't touch that SL @#$% even once.
