Also, the Outlaw weapon artifact requires Lockpicking which if I recall correctly is not obtainable until level 17. Good to know there is a way to do them now!
I'm not sure if it was fixed because I'm an update or two behind but ElvUI was showing the action button on your quest tracker but not allowing you to use it. I had to disable all my addons to use Pickpocket and Lockpick to get through the Rogue quests.
Cool. Good to know they thought of this.As novel as the idea of just figuring out your class was, I suppose it doesn't translate well to leveling.
I did my DK weapon but now it's stuck at ilvl 20, how do you upgrade them if your not doing Legion?
obtaining g'hanir on resto druids was also undoable because the nightmare corruption would tick too quickly, has there been a fix for this as well?
Funny how some classes get an interrupt at level 6 (looking at you rogues)... others don't get it till 26 ( druids QQ ). Yet, some dungeons in BfA require a kick for boss mechanics, rendering some compositions difficult (if not impossible) with pugged groups.
Balance druid also need an interrupt as well which is at level 26.
There's another problem with legion artifact quests in Chromie Time -- being in zones where you can't get back right away if you have to leave. My shaman was working on the Enhancement line at level 15 and was in Deepholm when she fell into a deep hole and could not get out. I was too far away from mobs to get one to kill me so I could rez at a spirit healer and stay in zone. My only recourse to unstick myself was to hearth. I tried abandoning the quest, but it won't reset to where I can pick it up again in the class hall. Problem is, she can't go back into Deepholm until level 30. Even going into Cata Timewalking doesn't help, because it counts old-world zones as Cata zones and Deepholm won't open there until level 30 either. Just need to bide my time until I'm of sufficient level to see if I can pick up the dropped threads.
The most dated and clunky aspect of the game is the wretched "click on mob / click on small icon in corner of screen" mechanism. The UI really needs something more fluid. AAPs macro for quest items works OK but gets confused if you have more than one item. I'll check out this addon ExtraQuestButton. I think a better solution is the interactive "claw" thing that comes up on mouseover.
With Chromie Time, are the Mage Tower Challenges opened back up to complete the Artifact weapon appearances?
CRAP. I literally ran into this with my new druid day one of pre-patch. So I went somewhere else... /facepalm
I had issues with the Aff lock quest. Button was there but did nothing when clicked. As others said, you can start disabling add ons, however I found /reload worked for me.
Can’t even equip the fury artifact when you first get it. Requires Titans grip which you don’t learn till 14. Not a long lasting problem but very confusing to someone new to the class.
You're welcome. These were all reported in beta, along with the unmentioned G'Hanir cleanse for Zentabra, and they added the buttons because we gave them specific options on ways that they could handle it. Even though it isn't always clear what to do next, they did not want to give the spells at lower levels, hence this compromise. Not sure if they were already planning to do this, or if we initiated the review, but they definitely made a roadblock into an opportunity.
