I really wonder if Holy Pala is good enough for PvP this time
What happened to the new animations they were showing on the beta? Like Holy Light's new book animation.
Holy Paladin Main. We need more depth.Blizz class design early BFA is lacking and it really shows in a few specs. Holy Has great utility sure, but our throughput in to healing is generally pretty boring.Do better Blizz.
H Pally Current state: A SAD ONE " Holy Shock no longer gains double your critical strike chance; instead, it adds a flat 30% crit chance. This means that Holy Shock crits will happen less often, so Infusion of Light buffs will be less frequent. Furthermore, the Shock Treatment and Second Sunrise traits being removed with our Artifact makes our core short cooldown spells less impactul, and therefore less satisfying to cast." SAYS IT ALLSo light of Dawn is about worthless at 240IL it does 1300 healing.... 1300 thats really helping the raid and 5 man heals when everyone is taking 5-7k shots....NOT... i dont think ill play h pally anymore unless a buff is in the future. why play a slow feeling healer with no throughput healing, raid heals, and countless worthless utility spells on the action bar now compared to actual healing spells. The amount h pallys took a step back just feels terrible my entire spec is playing around holy shock which ....shocker they nerfed that on top of everything else. You nerfed judgement of light by (20% down to 5% of Spell power) making our raid healing that much more sad. Beacon of the Lightbringer was just completely removed from the game and Light of Martyr feels just above useless with Fervent Martyr gone. you see the trend here? Things being taken away KEY things being taken away and nothing added or reworked...light of dawn use to be useful when it actually healed and could proc cooldowns or talents but now its about as useful as Disengage in a 1x1 room. I suppose if i want to waste a talent and get Awakening for a light of dawn proc....BUTTTTT i would have to give up Avenging Crusader ( Melee wings) or Sanctified Wrath which i think we can all agree we need Crusader or Wrath making the "added" worthless as ^&*! talent Awakening useless.How can Blizzard put so much thought and work into MW monk ( great another monk spec OP AF for another expansion) but leave so many pillar healers behind in these reworks. everyone almost took a step back except MW who someone actually decided to put some work into and came out really nice except few other healers did...MW even Disc took 10 steps ahead of everyone. sure pally utility is nice but you know what else is? BEING ABLE TO BE A VIABLE HEALER. The class feels beyond slow game play and yeah mobility is a issue but id rather you fix the healing than our mobility. Blizz ruined alot with the GCD bs they are on. lemme click wings and wait. then holy avenger then wait, aura mastery and wait.. oh now i can acutally use a heal proabably a instant as i just fell behind trying to get 2 spells off to improve the $%^& throughput we currently have. We can hope and lie to ourselves that it will get better with 120 and Azerite gear and im sure we will but so is every other class thats already alot more viable than H Pally I wonder if there is anyone in Blizzard who actually tests these reworks on all characters to see how they stack up to their respectable roles before they go live with this stuff. yes i know they will do minor fixes in the future but H pally is beyond a tiny tweak to fix. its weak, slow, and no real throughput. may as well go on monk and be able to instant casts all my main spells (single target, raid heals, and HOTS) instead of waiting 3 sec for a holy light that might reach 10k crit on a single target. 0 hots the GCD feels like AIDS ( ask magic johnson) oh and what use to be the class with all the blessings and buffs has crumbled over expansions to amount to jack %^&* for holy. right how could i forget my 20% dev aura that splits into only 5% in a m+, less in raids or our SAC aura that they nerfed to the ground. also we lost our extra 15% health on top of it. The spec just feels bad compared to when i jump on shaman, monk, druid, or priest to heal. It feels like Blizzard wants everyone to just play Monk Disc. Yes this is also a monk hate piece because the difference when i play monk vs pally is dramatically better in every aspect of healing, mobility, and class play.Love,Blizzard fan and Holy MainBlizzard Please fix Holy Paladin (also nerf the F out of MW or pull the rest of us up)
whos gonna have less than 30% crit at 120 and actual raid or m+ no one. so yeah may be good while we are boosted and not at 30% crit but end game its a nerf
Stat priority specifics aside, this iteration of Holy Paladin feels disgusting to me. Slow, clunky, and stripped of what I feel are the wonderful things about Holy(I'm looking at you, AoS). Fine, I'll use Devo aura when you force me to. =.=
There needs to be a major shakeup at Blizz. New people who know what they’re doing and who won’t jump ship for Overwatch etc. the first chance they get. They need to actually care about the fun factor more and stock price less. They don’t seem to realize if they make the game more engaging they will increase their MAU numbers. It’s all just artificial slowing of the game to squeeze more time out of the player. A sad state for H Paladins.
its funny reading all these things yet when i go into top m+ healers twitch channels they say holy paladin is the best healer for m+. I guess maybe this was written by a novice? and people commenting haven't touched beta i presume
Class feels unfinished now and azerite traits don't appear to be adding much to fill the gaps.Really wanted to main holy again because they were so fun in legion... rolling over to monk, or shaman maybe until they're fixed.Very sad.
It's very vanilla. Where are the talents or gear that change up the play style?Already missing leggos.Maybe this necklace and armor will do it, but it seems more stat modifier than ability.
