Great job Wowhead about time that you figured out that it was a buff instead of a nerf like you have been saying for a week XD.

Easily called last fix that the "fix" wouldn't do much of anything. Capping at 4 is finally a good start. They should disappear when exiting combat though, to be more on par with other affix difficulties.They waited too long to fix this, they broke the spirit of a lot of casual players who may not try again.
Should just be easier across the board. Most people and healers I know just say "oh grievous week" guess I'll skip that one.
Doesn't change that it's substantially harder than any other affix to handle, but now things are closer at least. This change was desperately needed after the first 'fix'. The first change still makes me lose some confidence in their ability to make changes for Mythic+. It was just really disappointing.In what universe did it make sense to take an affix that is ridiculously punishing when your group gets to 5 stacks across the board and make it MORE ridiculously punishing? I don't understand.Was it balanced around full Mythic raiders doing +7s? Around the MDI? Has a single person from Blizzard pugged a dungeon on a Grievous week? They would understand how bad this already is for the average playerbase. You can't tune a mechanic around the top 1% of the playerbase without ruining the game for people.It's like if the fix for Explosive also doubled the damage dealt by the explosion. It doesn't make sense.
The difference between a 6 and a 7 this week has been insane.

Still blizz didn't notice that a % base damage isn't fair. More gear gives you more HP, so the dot is going to hit you harder. Why this affix isn't just a number? for example: 20.000 damage per second per stack. So, the tanks aren't going to be so squishy with 3 or more stacks, and you are not punished to be well geared.
so much better, 5 stacks of 2% was killer if your healer wasn't "amazing" or was a certain class who laughs at grevious.
This wont fix anything. 8% tick at max stack is almost the same as original version. All they need to do is to change the trigger of grevious from 90% hp to 80%. Even the smallest damage trigger grevious and at 5 stacks its so hard to heal over 90%
Thats what happens when you just copy/paste something from previous xpac without considering all the new fights, mechanics and class changes made in the new xpac. Some affixes work fine like more mobs or they get buffed but some others like Grievous or Explosives become worst.We dont have OP Artifacts abilities on short CDs and most of the classes have seen other major changes too. Some of these affixes are just bad when carried over from Legion when they were created based on how classes were back then.
Lol :) this is my major complaint coz the tank I heal has 270k hp and my heals are pretty useless when the stacks go up to a certain point. This is one of the 3 affixes where the group is being punished for having better gear. Sanguine and Quaking being the other 2 due to their damage being percentage based.
It does more damage, faster. This is a buff to affix, and a nerf to healer enjoyment.
How about you remove the affix and admit players don’t enjoy? Hmm?
Grievous week is much harder when pugging a 7 than when you pug a 15. I struggled to get a 10 om my alts this week, but did a 16 on main. Sure, it wasn't an easy week, and I just did 2 keys on main, but this is a problem. It doesn't scale. And small mistakes are extremely punishing. If a DPS or two take avoidable damage on a boss fight and force a CD from the healer it can cause a wipe because the planned CD rotation is out the window for the unavoidable damage.I want all affixes to matter less, so that key level is the limiting factor. So many time sink affixes just makes it soo boring, because you struggle to even get to the key levels you usually manage to finish in time.
Excuse me WHAT?Certain healers can't even heal out 3 stacks of this affix. My monk healer can remove the 10%/tick Grievous with almost 1/4 max mana from a tank.Do not change the Grievous ticks instead of the HP threshold 90% is too high, you can't find a boss fight where you can top of everyone constantly without burning all of your mana within the first 30 sec.Change the threshold to 50%-70% and punish the lazy healers.
This affix is insanely overtuned and this hotfix does literally nothing. Blizz getting incompetent nowadays.
