Cool insights. Thanks
Man, talk about flashbacks :)I know Ghostcrawler always got a lot of ^&*! for being the face of WoW at the time, but I enjoyed how much he interacted with the playerbase, even if he did not see eye to eye on a lot of things.I feel the current Team could learn something from that.
I definitely wouldn't say it's too fast. Honestly I'd prefer it to be a bit quicker. But then I have 40 level 50 characters.
Always fun to see the perspective of a former dev on the game much later on. :D
Aww, I miss GC. It was obvious how much he loved not only the game but its players too.
This legit sounds like he is trying to butter up Blizz. All these high level positions opening up left and right, and suddenly he comes back into the spotlight hmmmm
fun read, nice to get some of his insight. he was the ian back in the day kindaid love to hear his take on horde city in bfa, but mainly, what does he think about m+? he say "ae fest", but he can need to look into m+ then.
If he thinks Boralus is confusing then please don't check out the Horde.
Would be so cool if they managed to rehire him as the new class lead. WoW needs a better class dev team.

I did Drustvar yesterday and I had no trouble completing the storyline. The only time I lost quest was during that time-travel-memory thing, but that is buggy since release, so nothing new. :DAnd I can also relate to the leveling feeling really fast. Especially in BfA. (Still have to deep dive most other Chromie times) But I suppose that's because there is a lot of things to do in BfA between the main story, ton of side quests, bonus objectives, War campaign, Magni campaign, Expeditions and I am sure I missed something. I hit 50 before even starting Stormsong.
AOE is literally the most fun part of WoW. Complaining about AOE in dungeons is like complaining about dunking in basketball.
I'm curious about his choice of playing a Retribution Paladin. Is it due to guilt for incorrectly blaming Retadins for the deaths of his parents so many years ago?Did he lose a bet with someone? Or is there some secret Retadin-crustacean connection that we are so far unaware of?
Ah yes, one small indie company worker evaluates another small indie company's work.
Glad to read this <3
I know he did suck at game balance. I know for a fact and still remember Unholy DK with shadowmourne being out dpsed by duel wield. I still remember the way he justified it and how it pissed a lot of people. When a legendary weapon becomes a downgrade for your class.I still remember the way he *!@#ed up Scourge Strike. how he killed Demon Warlock literally in both WOTLK and Later Cata. he always lacked depth in class perspective in a selfish way.I remember every bad moment this game suffered because of him. Funny things people still talk about it.and now he's just buttering up Blizzard. Contract in Rio must be expiring soon. God I hope not to see him here again.
i agree its a little too fast
This was nice to read. Am glad he could come back and find joy in the game.
