"Given that it's a five player dungeon though, class accessibility is still important. They still want moments where specific classes can shine, but not to the point where they feel required, since the group size is so much more restrictive."Oh really? Is that why having a Priest is practically mandatory for Uldaman and Halls because of the absurd amount of damage the groupwide dispels do? I mean you can say this all you want, but the 4th boss of Uldaman is absolutely trivialized by Mass Dispel.
Any group content should be doable through LFG/LFR at the same time as any other difficulty, with nothing more than a minimum ilvl. I spend as little time interacting with other players as possible because I'm sick of how miserable the culture of Mythic-anything has made even a basic LFG dungeon run to complete the quest that sent me there. Not everyone wants or needs or should have to deal with toxic groups and looking for a decent guild and being scrutinized and itemized by Group Finder and spending dozens of hours and who knows how much gold on crafting and gearing, just because they happen to like playing in the story and setting of Warcraft. If Blizzard made a singleplayer Warcraft RPG, I wouldn't even be having this conversation, I just want to enjoy WoW as best I can. I'm far from the only person who plays this way.
"Afflicted is a good example" of utter garbage. That's the only thing afflicted is a good example of.
I'd love more megadungeons, I'd just like them to release in a group-findable way at the same time as mythic. Or go the complete opposite way and give megadungeons a single-player mode for story exploration.
i want more pvp content, what happened to zones that had faction objectives to control out in the world?Or more warmode stuff to do? In pvp every encounter is different. every player plays different.Pve content is just so boring, the dungeon will be fun the first time you do it, then just feel like a boring and repetitive like all the other mega dungeons.People who raid literally log in twice a week, I would like to actually play the game everyday.
Just more reasons for me to not re-sub.The dungeon not launching with an heroic difficulty is unacceptable. It furthers the plot and it unlocks more story quests? They cannot and should not limit it to mythic only; nor force players who do not do mythic content to wait 2 months before they can continue the story. They'll never learn, it seems.
As someone who's extremely nervous to even try a Mythic +9 with a full set of 424+ gear, I'm kind of astounded at the, sorry to say, entitlement of some people here. Not every part of the game has to confirm to the needs of any random player. It's FINE if some things are not part of your interest or are too hard for you. Megadungeons are great the way they have been doing them- They provide a big chunk of small group content that isn't facerolled, but also aren't top of the line elitist content either. And by the next patch they've been broken up into two separate dungeons- two easy heroic versions for facerolling, and two mythic+ versions for those who want to push the envelope. And don't get me started on 'story content'. Anyone who's invested enough in the story will either play 'hardcore' enough to pug a dungeon, or will visit sites like Wowhead and other places that discuss datamined information to learn more.
5 man raids pls.
