Why are ranged hunter weapons the only weapons not allowed to t-mog weapon enchantment? Feels really bad when everyone else in the entire game gets to represent their accomplishments through really cool effects and colors on their weapons. #HunterWeaponsRiseUp
So is dragon riding and doing flips and diving on our mounts only allowed in the Dragon Isles? Or can our dragons do it anywhere
We wont get to ride our customized dragons anywhere else than the dragon isles? Even as just normal mounts in other places? That is a huge let down. I was getting really excited to make a custom mount and now it will just be gone and unused after an expansion. =( I really hope they rethink that and allow us to ride them like normal in the rest of the world, just as a normal mount.
Super excited about the idea of transmogging Commons and greys. Not super excited about soloing legacy content not being a cakewalk.
As a tank main, it is so sad that Evoker cannot be one. I would may leave my main for be one of them.
"Out of the box, customizability and being able to move things around and adjust scale of things by default without using addons, I think is an improvement. We're always looking at the addon community as a source for inspiration and trying to understand ways in which we can better serve our players with our default experience. We also have ongoing support and improvements to the support of our controller APIs, which I know a lot of players who can't necessarily use a traditional mouse and keyboard setup, are able to take advantage of in order to play the game with alternate devices. That's an ongoing process, I don't necessarily think that there's a specific piece of our Dragonflight revamp that's aimed at that, but it's something that we're continuing to incrementally consider and improve in all of our patches in all of our updates to WoW's UI going forward."Then why does it feel like our feedback is often not heard and we're having to fix ui bugs they don't or add features they don't. When has an addon author ever actually gotten a dev interview to discuss accessibility or other features at all. At best we can maybe slip a question through wowhead or something to get asked on our behalf but a direct conversation not so much. Blizzard, if you reant want our feedback, oh boy i can make a list of questions for classic and retail that'll ask the things your normal interviewers miss. :)
Player housing would make WoW at least twice as good for me. We've been homeless for over a decade and a half.
"we're always going to be listening when it comes to pieces of the game that people would like us to revisit or should come to World of Warcraft in the future"lol ok
I hope they add PLENTY of gray and white items like starting gear and such, hopefully making some like the Gilnean sets cosmetic! While they're at it I'd love for them to add the items removed with Cataclysm from quests...Oh and the rest of the heritage armor sets!
Sounds like the combination of people happily ruining their in-game fun for the sake of min-maxing, and watching people play classic, has actually made Blizzard finally accept that while sure, it could be really cool to have these trade-offs in your character where depending on your build you might be good at one thing at the expense of something else, that's just not going to work with WoW. I see the vision that they went in with the Covenants at first and I think it could have been cool. But ultimately, that's just not how modern WoW is played. The systems could be really cool, but that would have to be a different game where from the start making permanent character decisions is to be expected.Makes me feel optimistic about what is to come when it comes to alt-friendliness and such.
My dudes, I'm so sick of the excuses regarding player housing, the other day they said it would literally cost a raid tier and that's a price I'm willing to pay.Player housing is a long term feature where things can be added over the years, FFXIV still adds items with almost every patch and it's working for them, a raid tier is relevant for one tier in an expansion and then it's forgotten, surely long term benefits outweigh short term for the game? At this point I'm convinced it's never coming they have been using this type of excuse for years now.
Hopefully they will allow Dracthyr to get a tank spec in the future. It makes sense from point of view, where dragon scales are considered very tough and durable material.
rip my hopes for player housing next xpac. :[ Literally, the only rumour I wish came true.
“Increasingly what we've heard from our players, particularly as they play more alts, no it's me, the player behind the keyboard, it's my journey…”How do they say things like that with a straight face, honestly? They’re only NOW hearing this, really? We’ve been saying it for YEARS! And what’s more it didn’t even need to be said, it’s obvious should have been their policy all along. But they didn’t listen back then nor did they care because they were solely concerned with boosting their engagement metrics and it’s not until sh*t hit the fan and players walked out in droves that they finally decided to listen.I know how the corporate world works, especially in the US, but how can they keep these people on and give them increasingly more and higher positions when they’re clearly so incompetent.
Well, Dracthyr possibly being other classes down the line makes me like them a little more. Let's hope that line isn't too long.
