Can anyone else not see some talents like Arms' 2/3 in the level 30 tier?
https://www.cuckhead.com/wotlk/talent#MrxnHzFor my raiding rogue, seems like a good setup. The ghostly strike buff combined with deeper strategem and marked for death might wind up being a large dmg boost. If the Into the Fray stacks with fleet footed, 30% move speed at all times (holy moley). Iron stomach looks very lack luster, i would consider taking it if it were + healing from all sources and not just my own healing (i already miss recuperate). I would also be more interested in Parley if my raid team wasnt TERRIBLE about breaking CC >_> . Alacrity looks like the easiest pick on here for a rogue that lives and breathes haste, those other two are NO competiton at all (good RIDDANCE to you, Killing spree. you ALWAYS sucked and got me killed too many times in raids). Roll the bones looks awful to me, i dont want to rely on LUCK for me to get the buff that will help me the most, my patience for RNG is pretty well spent.
For my MM hunter...https://www.cuckhead.com/wotlk/talent#MhxOnzI choose the talents that seems to be the most dps-effective in a arena situation, since I'm not very atracted to pve.But this is just a first try, I should test every talent before choosing. Maybe something that looks dumb now could be a good talent?
https://www.cuckhead.com/wotlk/talent#MlyyLzMy build for Ret paladin follows along with Blizzards intention for the Legion class changes; I wanted to really feel like a paladin. I picked the abilities that are will not give you the best DPS, but the abilities that seem like the most fun to use and the once that really fit that 'Ashbringer-weilding paladin of justice' vibe that I've been craving since I roled my first character! Keep up these good changes Blizz!
Gg Warlock :D
https://www.cuckhead.com/wotlk/talent#Mkx5H0love the synergy between the first 2 rows: almost constant 25% attack speed buff > generating more killing machine procs > now i can store 2 procs so none goes to waste!
Removing Juggernaut, Burst of Speed, etc...but Demon Hunters keep insane mobility...kek... "balance"...
A huge thank you to everyone at Wowhead for the tireless work you've put into providing all the datamined Legion info over the past days. I really appreciate everything everyone does to allow me to get super excited about new items, spells, talents and gear long before I have them. I'm sure there is a ton more work to be done, and even more will pop up as Beta goes live and sees changes, and I hope you all get a good night's sleep soon!My thoughts on Resto Druid talents using the fancy new guide system are here! What a great tool to provide Beta feedback.
My initial thoughts on talents for a single target boss rotation, disregarding tuning and simulations
Loving all these talents, when I first saw DH I thought they were going to be incredibly OP. But these new talent trees say otherwise.
Given how things normally go when I'm a protadin, this seemed like the wisest talent tree. For a more advanced group, I could definitely see the potential in switching a few of them out, though.
Do bloodworms attack?Does DK have only one disease per spec?Blood feels weak in dealing damage now...
https://www.cuckhead.com/wotlk/talent#MhwCOMI developed my build with an eye on leveling...dealing with large groups of weaker mobs with barrage and pet survivability for handling elite mobs with Aspect of the Beast.
https://www.cuckhead.com/wotlk/talent#MlwN8M-jLfRcqI´ve attempted a "shockadin" build that focuses on melee range gameplay, since it seems that´s what Blizz is trying to push (and wouldn´t it be wonderful if it actually worked!)Tier 1: Crusader's Might is picked because we´ll probably be using Crusader Strike a lot anyway, so there´s no harm to increase our overall healing by 12%. It also synergizes really well with Judgment of Light and Beacon of the Savior.Tier 2: TELEPORTS!. No, that´s it. I just want Blink on my paladin, and damn anyone who denies me this chance!Tier 3: Complete flavor pick here; I just prefer more stuns. Not much to it, really. All 3 can be used.Tier 4: Aura of Light is a flat 10% healing buff for the people we are healing, so it´s an obvious choice. I´m curious about Aura of Mercy, but since it seems to be on a 3 min CD (?) I´ve let it be.Tier 5: Perhaps a bit of a flavor pick; I´ve always used Prism, and I want to keep using it. With a melee build, we can easily include it in our rotation to heal the melee group. Boosting our CDs is nice, but I often find it´s not needed; healer CDs are generally used by Blizz as a "use it here" kind of thing, so boosting an already huge CD is hardly needed compared to some nice AoE healing.Tier 6: Very obvious pick for a melee build; we´re gonna be using a lot of our melee abilities, which includes Judgment. spreading healing out like this has always been a bit iffy for Holy paladins, so this is a welcome tool for raid wide healing that doesnt murder your mana pool.Tier 7: This is perhaps the most difficult pick; BoF is a proven and trusted companion. I´ve picked Beacon of the Savior to maintain the meleedin feel, but also because if this is balanced properly, I´ll have the "secondary beacon" in the form of my melee hits anyway, and this talent allows for more effective healing pon single-target moments of a fight, whereas BoF currently cannot be swapped for any encounter because there´s always somewhere where you want that second beacon. BoS allows you to heal just 1 tank, or heal the off-tank when needed and still maintain heals on the beaconed tank.So what we have is a tank-and-melee-range-Aoe-healing build that is going to be really strong on fights with little dual-tank damage and lighter hits on the entire raid group. For fight with 2 tanks, the paladin can either swap to BoF or just heal the offtank, using Judgment to maintain smaller heals on the group. As for Glyphs, Hand of Sacrifice is mandatory (A 30% damage reduction CD? who wouldn´t!), Flash of Light is great for moment of heavy healing, and Battle Healer fits our gameplay well, although as it seems seals are going in Legion, this talent might be dropped, in which case our Lay on Hands glyph will fit well for early content because of the mana gain it provides. This build will probably focus on Haste and Mastery to really abuse Lightbringer and Sanctity of Battle. I imagine the Spirit stacking will be relatively light since our globals will be spent on a much cheaper rotation than the usual spells Holy uses.
When are wowhead actually gonna make there website work with iPads! Every time I want to see a spell discription on the talent trees I have to open a new window ffs! Fix this!
Frost DK Talentshttps://www.cuckhead.com/wotlk/talent#MkxLH0-LmARacThere were a few basic thoughts I had when I looked at each of the talents, but I'm still not entirely certain how well this would actually work out.Sub-Zero - Killing Machine already makes Obliterate automatically crit, so adding on some Frost damage on top of that (taking that Frost isn't affected by armor) just seems to add more bang for your buck. Couple that with:Biting Winds - Rime is a pretty nice effect in itself; free damage, allowing more runes to be free for Obliterate strikes. Making it more often for this effect to occur helps free up rune space, alongside the fact that you can store two charges of not only Rime, but also Killing Machine - which is why Sub-Zero was taken earlier, so that even more damage is dealt from your Obliterates.Runic Longevity - The rune regen part of the talent is pretty okay in itself (not as much as Runic Corruption), but it's the fact that it gives you a SEVENTH rune to use. This could be used for an application of Frost Fever through Howling Blast, or for any other ability that only requires one rune to cast, such as the last talent on the list.Spellbreaker - Out of all the talents in this tree (which are based around defense and CC) this seemed to fit the most for PvE. If the boss has a lot of burst-like magic damage this would seem to be the talent to go for due to the increase in damage absorption and duration.Death Pact - Also seems ideal for PvE, as it takes a load off of healers if you accidentally walk into fire or something. Yes, you have a healing absorption shield, but the best case scenario is that you won't be taking too much extra damage so that either the debuff just wears off or the healers have enough free time to get rid of it.Remorseless Winter - This and Gorefiend's Grasp are great for add fights. If you can combo abilities with other party members, Gorefiend's would be the way to go, but Remorseless Winter seems more fitting for keeping the adds locked down. Asphyxiate has usage in PvP, but doesn't seem useful against bosses.Glacial Advance - The description of the ability seems interesting, and this takes up the extra rune you get from Runic Longevity. It seems to do more base damage than Defile by its description (180% against 36.63% + 2.5% every second if someone's standing in it), but beta and live tests will show if it's really as effective as the description suggests.Keep in mind that this is coming from someone that did 2H Frost DK in WoD. I have no idea how the shift to fully DW is going to affect the usefulness of Obliterate, but I'm assuming that it's not going to be too great of a difference from how it was before, despite how the rotation for DW in WoD differed from 2H.
PVE MarksmanshipI picked these talents and glyphs' because they are the most familiar to what I have right now also, these talents have a lot of AoE involved, this may change once we start raiding in Legion. I might use these talents for Trash and choose different talents for a single target boss.
https://www.cuckhead.com/wotlk/talent#Mhw5_0I took what looked fun, tho I'm sure when it all goes live I'll be trying them all.. Also.. OMG VOLLY! :D
I call this :https://www.cuckhead.com/wotlk/talent#MpyQ_M"Can I Play With Madness". The idea being that once you hit 100 Insanity and enter Voidform, immediately pop and do everything in your power to keep the Insanity flowing, enjoying a 40% Shadow damage boost courtesy of Lingering Insanity. Use to bombard your target for some on-demand Insanity, and keep as your ace in the hole for an instant refill of Insanity. For extra luls, become good friends with a DK, Warlock or Druid if/when you inevitably go crazy and die horribly, and begin the cycle anew! High-risk, high-reward talent choices!
Well, here's what I got, it's a bit rough around the edges, but it's just a for fun build anyway :)
