They're seriusly still in denial about "Legendaries" just being a bad idea cross the board, how dense can you get?.... All they did was TAKE THINGS AWAY that was either baseline or a talent, and sheepishly slapping them onto RNG tied items, it's just dumb and a #$%^ move, just extend the actual talent trees instead allready, even HoTS which is a friggin moba has a more balanced and in-depth system, it's not fun it's annoying and tedious, there's no dynamic gameplay involved with the system whatsoever, and the "legendaries" just hold no depth whatsoever, they dont contribute to anything except making an annoying RNG-gate you need to get past to do proper DPS with some classes.RNG is the absolutely worst aspect of Legion, alongside with the new PVP-honor just being fundamentaly broken, PVE is universialybetter for gearing yet again, with stupid RNG boxxes plaguing PVP in a true backwards-design.
There should be more patches after 7.3 and even 7.3.5 because half of year without updates before new addon? I dont believe it possible in Legion
Fans of Suramar will enjoy it? Count me in, Suramar might be my favourite zone in whole WoW!
you realise any time they spend on making a new raid will make the new expansion push further? raids dont come from thin air
1 year raid incoming, hype
Ian is full of crap when it comes to legendaries, this system is garbage.
They arent legendary when everyone can have them and are required for progression.
Speaking as an Arms warrior who finally got relevant and both BiS legendaries after a horrible dry spout of Fury and Prot leggos (Screw you Blizz, making Arms relevant), I hate the legendary system and look forward to not dealing with it again. It was NOT fun running around as Fury with Aggramar's and Sephuz for half of the expansion (not even kidding), it was NOT fun takning with Aggramar's and whatever the green trinket was (Archimonde's something?), and it was NOT fun having no Arms legendaries on the switch over. When raids boot you for low performance, it's never a good thing, but it's generally your fault, right? Missing mechanics, doing poor rotations, and so on; those are fine reasons. When you do low damage because some classes benefit absurdly high from having correct RNG gear, and get booted because the average for your class is much higher, it's really not fun.I've got most legendaries by now. I play way too much for my own health, I'll admit that before anyone else. What I will not admit is liking the legendary system; I'd rather farm all of the raid and dungeon drop mounts as well as TLPD and Aeonaxx again before dealing with another dreadful legendary system. I absolutely HATE opening treasure, getting that awesome legendary border with orange text (the only thing good about the legendary system), and finding something that's worse than a dungeon epic. It's borderline punishment to get a bad legendary, especially if it's Sephuz since that's practically useless except as an ilvl booster for many specs. I feel dirty because my ilvl got cheesed with Sephuz and Aggramar's, and I felt like I was being carried at times. This bad feeling drove me to keep playing for more and more legendaries, and now with less than six left for me to even get, I finally have the "right" legendaries. That's just terrible game design. Sulfuras? Thunderfury? Shadowmourne, Tarecgosa, the dumb Panda cloaks, the Khadgar ring? Those were SIGNIFICANT upgrades. You'd be hard pressed to find a way to replace those in live content if you had them at the right expansion, and some even worked well into the next. You worked your butt off, dealing with innumerable players and idiots (looking at you, forced pvp cloak requirement), and spent a great deal of time playing to unlock them. Those are good legendaries and acquisition methods, barring Pandaria's terrible pvp requirement that literally nobody liked. That is the formula we should be going with, not random drops that are just slightly better epics with the ones worth wearing for your class being guaranteed after an absolutely unknown time. Someone may go the entire expansion, never seeing their BiS legendary; being shafted like this is a grim possibility, even for folks who've been 110 since before Nighthold.tl:dr; Remove random drop legendaries next expansion. Don't make the same mistake twice.
Not sure what's worse -- that people 'cry' about a game on a fansite, where little, if any, of the comments will be seen by the company that publishes the game... or some of the abysmal spelling that passes for comments/posts.
