That cinematic was dope, i almost cried thinking Koranos would die but got saved! DO IT FOR HIM!
His face.. his face.. his face.. quite the analysis
Definite kudos to the animators and artists that put all this together. Koranos had an incredible amount of emotion and expression for being completely silent in the trailer.
Excellent analysis! Oh, Stony Tony - he's already my favourite thing in the new expac!
So this means that the Dragon Isles were sealed after Ancient Kalimdor has sundered,, yet the churning of the maelstrom hasn't calmed yet. Because you can see that the Dragon Isles are already surrounded by the ocean. If the Dragon Isles were sealed before the Sundering, where the dragonflights went to the night elves' aid during the War of the Ancients then the setting must be land all over since Ancient Kalimdor was still intact. Unless they haven't paid attention to lore tidbits hehe XD.
I have a feeling we met Koranos during this journey
I have a feeling that the one in the chair is supposed to be the keeper, Tyr himself (the place is called Tyrhold and Tyr's arm was bitten off by Galakrond)
The only problem is , I cared as much for Koranos as I cared for the Jailer... noting so this entire long cinematic, really was extremely boring I may had enjoy it as a short later on but not as the main cinematic!
So much emotion in the silent watcher,It was almost like Gendy Tartakovsky's Primal show. He is like Spear and Alextrasza like Fang
Genuine question (not throwing shade at the title): has 'announce' really become a shorthand for announcement? I thought it was a quirk of a particular game studio (which produces news headlines like "tune in to our announce" and other not-quite sentence sentences that make me cringe a little), but it really seems like more and more people are using announce as a noun lately.
aspects at end of cata: "age of dragons is over now is age of man"aspects: "ya nah fam we gonna get our power back and age of man is gone and new age of dragons begins"i mean i hope they do it good but...pretty lame when u think thats how it went.
when watcher open his eyes and hear something, its look like when jailer use blood of azeroth to remake reality , maybe this is why the ocean colored in azeroth blood and flowers bloom, maybe azeroth awaken ? i guess dragons are planned to disctract us from what happend in future, maybe azeroth awaken in this new expansion
how dope would it be if we get to fight all the old dragons again as current content.Onyxia and others I would love that
It's not as emotionally impactful of a cinematic as those in this style tend to be. I understand people liking it less as a result. It's not very hype. Little action. No quotable lines. But it was a good story. And I did get emotional during the fall. I doubt it'll go down in history as one of the best expansion trailers. But still scores high as a story cinematic.I care more about this silent stone Watcher, than I ever did about Zovaal the Jailer, and I've only known him for a few minutes. I hope this bodes well for this expansion. My biggest wonder is if we're in for more cinematics of this style during the expansion again, like the Saurfang campaign in BfA. I certainly wouldn't say no. The Cinematics team, for this type and others, have been carrying the story on their backs strongly in the recent expansions. And I hope this time, they get to carry a story we'll love as much as they deserve.
