I knew it, i pegged void elves as requiring argussian reach exalted.
#$%^ like this is why people quit this game.
Guess Highmountain will be Exalted as well as the Highmountain stories lines. Have all of those covered. Except perhaps when I need the reputations on Alliance side. Currently I'm only Revered on my highest character.
Hopefully the update to the void elf description will appease the shadow priests who felt they were being... well, overshadowed.
Highmountain one is up on the site and says account wide progress.
This really takes a lot of time to get exalted with 4 factions exalted but it’s worth it
Like most others here, I'm desperately hoping the requirements will account-wide. I focused on one character this expansion, and that one character has all of the reputation, achievements, quests, and everything else completed. No problem. I really don't want to have to repeat the whole venture on the opposite faction though, on a character I'll never really play again, just to unlock the option to try out the other allied races. If I need a 110 of the opposite faction to complete the scenario quest, then that's fine I suppose. But doing something like the entire Argus chain, plus grinding to Exalted again with the Argus reps...oof. I'd have no reason to do that again if it weren't for something like this.I guess we won't really be able to find out either way until we're closer to release I imagine, or at least in Beta.

I hate to point this out, but for those who are complaining about not having the rep done by the time BFA is out, it really isn't that hard to do, especially since after you get Exalted with a Legion faction on a character, the reputation tokens for that exalted faction on that character become a "Bind to Account" item, which makes it easier to grind out rep tokens on your main and send it to your opposite faction if you haven't done so yet. I play mainly alliance, but since I grind out so many of these rep tokens, I just sent them to my 'main' Horde character so that they can get exalted with them with less amount of grinding needed. The story lines themselves are easy to do, just as long as you get to max level and do what needs to be done. No one should be really worried about this one as long as they're doing the daily WQs like normal. Not to mention when Darkmoon Faire is up, there is no reason to go stacking tokens before that week and then use them up while having the DMF rep buff active.
If the Highmountain Tauren unlock achievement is account wide, there is zero logic in thinking it will not be the same for the other allied races. It says clearly: "These tracking achievements are listed as account wide progress"I'm glad we have to work at least something to be able to play them, makes complete sense and kinda like a reward for the people who have been playing all of the Legion expansion and of course all of us playing since vanilla. As for the new players coming into the game, this move makes sense also. Allied races do not have an actual full capital city and Blizzard said clearly they are going to start either at Orgrimmar or Stormwind, leaving room for the new players to go for one of the original races and experience the game as many of us did instead of jumping directly to the new stuff and completely ignoring the base racial content of the game (and lore for that matter).I'm super excited, just give me the original Nightborne faces and yellow/white tattoos for Highmountain Tauren and i'm a happy gal. :)
I'd say just another bit of proof that these are going to be unlocked at 7.3.5 release or shortly thereafter.
