This is very simpel. Get a group for Pit Of Saron. all over the map lies some stacks of Saronite bars, loot 5 of those. Then kill Forgemaster Garfrost, and loot his hammer. Then you see 2 big forges. go to one of them and use the hammer to rebuild Quel'Delar

Pre-quest starts here: The Battered Hilt

Here's the entire quest chain, with simple descriptions and quest links for the Horde versions.

The Battered Hilt
Bring the Battered Hilt to Myralion Sunblaze at Quel'Delar's rest, south of the Argent Tournament Grounds.
What The Dragons Know
Speak to Krasus at the top of Wyrmrest Temple.
The Silver Covenant Scheme (Alliance version is called "The Sunreavers' Plan")
Obtain the Orders by killing an NPC in the Dalaran Sewers. Make sure you kill the right one.
A Suitable Disguise
Obtain a Borrowed Tabard from Shandy Glossgleam; He is upstairs in the Threads of Fate: if you are standing in front of the stairs with the Violet Citadel to your back, it is to the right (to the left is the toy store).
An Audience With The Arcanist
Retrieve the Ancient Dragonforged Blades tome from Arcanist Tybalin. Use the disguise and go in the Alliance section of Dalaran.
Return To Myralion Sunblaze
Bring the Ancient Dragonforged Blades to Myralion Sunblaze at Quel'Delar's Rest.
Reforging The Sword
Obtain 5 Infused Saronite Bars and the Forgemaster's Hammer and use them to make the Reforged Quel'Delar. (AKA: Run the Pit of Saron. The infused bars are near the entrance; don't forget you have to kill the boss, too.)(It appears this can be done on Normal Difficulty.)
Tempering The Blade
Temper the Reforged Quel'Delar in the Crucible of Souls. (AKA: kill the final boss of Forge of Souls; use the quest item nearby.)(It appears this can be done on Normal Difficulty.)
The Halls Of Reflection
Bring your Tempered Quel'Delar to Sword's Rest inside the Halls of Reflection. (AKA, obviously, run Halls of Reflection.)(It appears this can be done on Normal Difficulty.)
Journey To The Sunwell
Speak with Halduron Brightwing at the entrance to the Sunwell Plateau on the Isle of Quel'Danas.
Thalorien Dawnseeker
Visit Thalorien Dawnseeker's Remains and obtain his blessing to wield Quel'Delar. (Go around behind SWP to the Dead Scar (southern end of Isle of QD zone, not in the SWP raid instance) and kill a bunch of mobs.)
The Purification of Quel'Delar
Immerse your Tempered Quel'Delar in the Sunwell. Speak to a Warden of the Sunwell when you are ready to enter the Sunwell Plateau. (Possibly different versions of this for sword/mace?)
A Victory For The - (sword or mace)
Bring the Restored Quel'Delar to the NPC at the Violet Citadel in Dalaran.

Notes:
This quest CAN be done on NORMAL mode

You can get the 5 bars with no combat by entering the dungeon on normal mode. Turn north east and they should be two in your way. Grab 2, exit, reset, repeat.

Did it in a regular heroic group, only had to ask tank to pull 2 extra mobs. There was 1 bar just to the right as you enter instance, then there's 2 on both sides of the stairs leading up to first boss (this is where I asked tank to pull the extra skeletons).

Kinda stupid making the first boss the questobjective. Now we got selfish idiots doing the first boss on normal, and leaving right after. Ruining it for the rest of the group.

This has happened 6 times in a row for me now. So in my battlegroup the normal version of PoS and now HoR is pretty much dead thanks to this quest. To bad for those that need gear from the normal versions.

What is required to pick up this quest? Im honored with The Sunreavers but Myralion Sunblaze wont give me the quest.

Best way to do this:

As soon as you accept the quest as dps, queue for a heroic or normal ( takes on my server about 20m-30m to get a group ) pit of saron ofcourse.

Then mount up fly to pit of saron manually and jump inside on normal mode. Direclty at the left and right you will see something that you can click and get those 2.

you will have 2 of the 5 required items.

jump out the instance reset and do this again, you will have after this 4/5 required items.

Redo that again and get 5/5 takes about 5 minuuts work.

Then join a group, i did heroic and you are good to go. kill the boss loot his hammer and forge the crap at those forges behind the boss.

You can take the risk for doing it in only a random run, you could get screwed up because the tank doens't wanna kill the first boss or skips mobs.

Also, be sure to keep in mind that after you complete this quest, the NPC you turn it in to has moved from Quel'delar's Rest to The Frozen Halls, which is the entrance for Forge of Souls, Pit of Saron, and Halls of Reflection.

For those who are doing Pit of Saron with a normal group and is afraid you won't get enough Infused Saronite - We found out that the second boss (Ick and Krick) has an abundance of them. We saw five around him.

The quest NPC is supposed to be moved to the Frozen Halls. This was not the case for me and had to return to Sindragosa's Fall in order to return my quest..

[We cannot allow Quel'Delar to remain broken and disgraced. Take the remnants of the sword, along with the battered hilt you discovered, and venture into the Pit of Saron within Icecrown Citadel.

In the pit, the Lich King uses slaves to mine, process, and transform saronite ore. This infused saronite is what we will use to rebuild Quel'Delar.

You must gather bars of infused saronite and capture the forgemaster's hammer, then bring them to the forgemaster's anvil and reforge the sword.]
